Thanks Lads,A lot of work has gone into it but we all know that the show will only be as good as the quality of the dogs that enter. Last year the show was shown fantastic support and the dogs were top class,I hope this year will be no different. I have a simple approach to the show which is if I'm going to ask you for a fiver to support the school then I need to entertain you for that fiver.I would like to think this show won't be beaten for value for money, and the more people that enter things like the digging competition the better the craic will be. -
Yet another demonstration of the quality of this forum...

New camera and alot to learn.

Good shot, what lens did you use? You really need a 200 or 300 zoom to get close-ups of wildlife other then that just check the camera's settings. Check that the image quality settings are on fine and not on normal and also check what the in camera sharpness is set at.If these are set wrong the image quality will suffer.Other then that it's just a case of playing around with it and learning as you go, don't worry you won't break it. -
This is a very rough drawing of the setup I've often used to get around the problem of low mains pressure. The average pressure washer uses water at a rate of about 11lt/min this can go down to around 5lt/min but can go up to hundreds of Lt/min depending on the machine being used. This setup should keep most pressure washers going despite the mains pressure and can easily be set up to take rainwater from a drainpipe and so get around a hosepipe ban.

Most pressure washers bar the really cheap ones will draw water from a tank. The fastest way to prime the pump is after you've placed the suction hose into the tank remove the high pressure hose, start the machine and run it till the water jets out, turnoff replace the high pressure hose and away you go. Things that will make the job easier would be a fine filter on the hose and a weight to stop the hose from floating and the machine sucking air. A more fail safe method is to get a plastic drum drill a hole in the side near the bottom ,attach a shutoff valve to it then connect your pressure was

Best of luck with the show lads, looking forward to it. Graham I'd say the m 8 is your best bet I can do Dublin in a little over 2hrs and Cashel is 45 mins from here . -
Really great set and a great ad for Wales, my favourites are the head shot of the lurcher lying on the floor , the silhouette of the lurcher on the beach and the b/w shot of the harbour.
