    it was definatly a head shot, it saw it impact so im going to skin it in the morning a see whats what. i did run my finger over the skull though and couldnt find anything :/

    I was out with the s200 this afternoon and had taken a few rabbits when out popped the 3rd one. Id already had a few run into cover before i could get a shot off so i wanted to get a shot in before this one followed suit. gun was on the bipod so im steady but the rabbit wouldnt turn side onto me so i thought, ahh to hell with it and decided to put one between its eyes. now ive heard that if you shoot them face on; between the eyes the pellets just bounces off. luckily for me i squeezed the trigger, click and twack! rabbits down. HOWEVER when i go to pick him up, there not a scratch on him, yet

    thats what i mean, ive done enough target shooting to know how much to adjust for trajectory. and i wish it was just excitement but i was on the bipod and that gun was as steady as it could be! i cannot think of any reason for this to be happening!

    Im pretty new to the whole air rifle hunting thing so still getting the hang of things, but ive got a bit of permission now so off i went this afternoon to check it out in the day time, having only shot it on the lamp before. Im shooting with an s200 .177 with RWS superdomes. So im laying down in a hedge facing a warren in a rough field with full camo on and its an easy 25 yards. after a cold 40mins out bounces the first rabbit nicely into the open. so i think, oh here we go, perfect way to start the day off, guns on the bipod, i couldn't ask for an easier shot! take aim, breath out anddddd sq

    as the title says, im not too sure where to post this so im just guna stick it here, i need an air rifle pump and a 10 shot conversion kit. anything considered, what have you got for me??

    thanks for all the advice guys, im going out to check the land out tomorow afternoon so im guna lay and wait untill dark then lamp and see how the bunnies react, should be a good day, ill let you know how it goes. with regards to jocky, is telford too far to travel? ive always wanted to do some work with ferrets! if its not too far, the lands ok and the landowners fine with it i might just take u up on that offer

    right guys ive been doing a bit of rabbit shooting over the years but nothing too serious. however ive now just got some permission thats heaving with rabbits! this is no exaggeration; i put the headlights on a field the other day and there was easily 100+ rabbits down one hedgerow! its an ornamental garden and the owners were near selling the land because of the problem. now for the question . . . im used to hunting bunnies with lurhcers on the lamp but im now up at uni so ive just got my s200 with me. whats the best way of knocking over large numbers? im a good enough shot to take headshots

    Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone goes ferreting around Shropshire area?? I do alot of work with lurchers and air rifles but havent had the chance to go out with ferrets before. now that im up at uni i cant go out with the dogs or the gun as they are back at home so was just wondering if anyone would be so kind as to take me out for a day??
