  1. used hill pump to fill an air arms 200 for 11 years without any problems, before selling said rifle i stripped and serviced it down to the last part and after many thousands of shots fired and countless first class hunts the inside of my rifle were as new. based on that and a previous incident whereby my rifle had been damaged by moisture ingress from a dive bottle i would;nt be too quick to switch back to a bottle; It has to be said that i would,nt recommend using a pump if you have a heart condition or similar i am 50 years old and lets say a little stout but so long as care is taken with

  7. try using american eagle 50g jacketed hollow point they are amazing in my howa 223 it has a 1 in 12 twist rate

Ok so today is the day I think im going in to purchas Ruger M77 hawkeye predator .223 rem barrel length 22.00" overall length 42.00" twist 1:9"RH can sum1 help me as to what is the highest grain this gun would shoot possible up to 75grain or am I wrong. 1:9 twist i think it will be about 70 gr but all ammo is different you will probably best of loading your own for the best result

  11. dont know about the ruger but i use a howa 1500 .223 with a houge stock and it is a very accurate gun the trigger is a little heavy but as with all guns you can make them suit you

  17. i have a howa 223 with synthetic stock i use pmc 55 gr bt on 100 meter range and get .5 moa they great guns
  18. yeh its a 1 in 12 twist.i have been buying the hornady 40 grains i found them very good i was thinking of loading the 40 grains.do you think the 55 grains are better? i have not tryed them. i will be shooting foxes I use 40 grain V-Max bullets as well as l like the lack of recoil compared to the 55's but as l have just gone and bought myself a .270 calibre rifle recoil is something I'm going to have to learn to get used to cheers Callum like i said i havent used the 55s but the 40s seem to do the job on foxes hi mate i use pmc 55gr fmj-bt on the range and pmc 55gr sp hunti
  19. i use awild cat predator 8 on my howa 1500 223 it makes a hell of a differnece the down side is that it costs 200 pound and adds a lot of weight to the gun
  20. I use a Remington 700 Custom in .22-250 I use a muzzle break but no moderator. The Remington 700 is a great shooting platform and can be up graded with an Accuracy International stock if required. i use a howa 1500 223 great gun very accurate

  22. When I cook rabbit for stew or pie I cook it twice. I joint it then soak it then cook it in the oven. Then when cool I flake the meat off the bones and then make it into a pie with the other ingredients. Do you cook the rabbit meat once or twice as once cooking leaves it tough and chewy? only cook once mate the bacon fat helps to keep burgers nice and juicy
