I once found a dead fox lying as tho it was asleep nr a stream,i went to farm nearby and he was poisoning rats(he had quite a prob and i saw a few sloping about in the few mins i was there doped up from the poison) i then checked an ash earth nearby and found a litter of cubs with dozens of part eaten rats and tails that the dog n vixen had been taking from yard.I concluded the dog fox had poisoned itself on the rats and due to the poison gone to the stream to drink before keeling over.No doubt the council will be poisoning rats on the landfill and could be the reason for the deaths??

Put some dry bracken in her bed,when she pisses on it it gives off a gas that they dont like,you have to keep changing it cos once they pissed on it they wont lie on it,but after a few days it should cure her

I had it happen 4 times to an old bitch and once about 3 weeks ago to a young dog.First time it happened i thought the bitch had lost all the teeth in her top jaw cos there was a fair bit of blood and mud it was hard to see what had happened at first. -
