Most hunt kennels will come and put it down for you and take it away,usually free to landowners on who's land they hunt but probably a charge if not

Could'nt get in with a digger,mate has one i can use but it was on top of a banking surounded by streams either side and a dry stone wall behind it.Will use it for the next one tho i think

Worth spending a weekend in the close season building one scent cos they do hold,we have plenty of natural earths round here but they still like to use them,and if there's not many natural earths about they're a godsend

There's a lot of deep mine shafts in the wood where ive built this one,bad places to put a dog,a few have been lost in them in the past.Lots of game about so im confident that it will soon hold.Got another 60ft of 9" clay pipe to build another one,it'll be a more elaborate afair next one.

Lift the stone flag,theres about 18" - 2ft of soil on top of the flag but only a 2 min job to dig it

Had about 30ft of 8" pipe knocking about in one of my woods so had a nice 8hr dig the other week. Dug a trench about 35ft long 3ft deep with a bend about 30' halfway down,then dropped the pipe sections in and wrapped them with plastic feed bags on the joints. Then dug the box in at a 30' angle to the pipe,put a stone flag in bottom,4 courses of concrete brick and capped with another stone flag then covered with plastic sheet before back filling with all the clay first to seal it all then the top soil on the last few inches. Built the entrance up with stone to make it look more natural and g

I just got the collars sellwyn and put them onto some couples i had from glyn jones,duno bout the couples but collars are spot on if a tad pricey

Got some terrier collars from b+f the other day,excellent quality! I got the 1" buffalo extra thick ones £15 for a pair the couples are £10 for short brass ones

What you gota do friedrice is part her lips with your fingers and give it a little stroke....now she'll think this is foreplay but really what your doing is chcking for bits of cottage cheese and knicker fluff....while your there have a sneaky whiff at it...now if it smells of wee or old trout you need to bite hard on your tongue to stimulate plenty of saliva....then follow the railway lines to the top where they meet....and get lapping!!!!! Just spoke to Tawny apparently he had to put the dog down aged 8yrs after it suffered a bad mauling from a buck rabbit,shame cos it had 4 good digs under its belt,one lasting nearly 20mins

You can give aspirin and paracetomal at 10mg/kg 1-2 a day,i think its ibuprofen that you can't give to dogs.

Prob a urinary infection,vet will prob give you a course of synulox or similar,should'nt cost too much,prob better to get it sorted so it does'nt lead to fertility probs

Zap,put dry bracken in her bed,when she pisses on it it gives off a gas they don't like,you'll have to change it everytime she pisses on it cos she wont like sleeping on it when its been pissed on,but within a week your problem should be sorted.
