i can see your point but you must under stand.i am a member of a small phesant shoot and my role is fox control i shoot a fair amount but also catch the odd one to ground which iagree is great sport but my primary concern is protection of the shoot birds .this is the only reason we still have legitimate terrier work .i suppose im lucky cos every time i kill one 2 come to the funeral i can see that some people new to shooting see this as a sport .but nothing beats that feeling realising your dog has found

i pay £12 per dog/course from a breeder i know works for me

your a lucky sod i must of walked 5 miles over rough ground before i got a shot then found out it wouldnt fit in my new roe sack never mind like foxhunter says cant wait till april and whilst im on has any one got a wrights of huntley roe sack they would sell pls pm -

a.22lr and .22 rimfire are the same ideal for rabbits hares and close in foxes but dont mention that to the police as a lad i know ended up having to involve basc as durham police refused to allow him a rimmy for fox he ended up with a.22rimfiremagnum as a comp romise anyway .22 cz great little rifle ideal for up to -100 yds if you can shoot that is

funny you should mention dead bucks vmax. last year on the same patch as ive seen this clean buck i found adead buck he had afair head on him but didnt seem injured .it was frosty could he have been injured by another buck? this early in the year

most of what we shoot on my ground are lesser bucks than the better ones we see, maybe they are travelling about without territories,never seen a fight proper ,but seen plenty of times where a good buck is trying to run off a smaller buck ,we havn,t got as many does as i would have liked , but will try again this weekend, there are so many deer around us at the moment nemo,s just got a nice bit of new ground for himself , so he doesn,t have to shoot all my buck,s ,now i can shoot his for a change i thought you wernt talking to me until buck season moley

he was definately the dominant buck weve seen around but wont know about medal status til ive shot him

had a great weekend finishing off the doe cull managed six in 2 mornings between 2 of us great weather as well any way saw several bucks of different sizes all in velvet exept 1 which was a decent 6 pointer totally clean has any body else seen any clean heads yet ??

as illusive as your arse may be bagpus us in the north are just starting to see these {muntjac that is} and as they are new to me any info on them from you boys that see them day in day out would be apreciated cheers

it depends i get £1 for ferreted or head shot rabbits but my game dealer isnt interested in shot gunned or lurchered rabbits

Have you any pics mate can you still get ammo for those things? ive never had any probs getting ammo most gun shops can get it easily if they dont stock it im going to post some pics when iget my head around my new camera you will have to excuse my lack of knowlege as all this computer stuff is a bit beyond me
