thankyou all and skycat shoud have took your advice in the first place ive done the idiotic thing and tried getting him catching because his sister has done it and i admitt im in the wrong i takehim out everyday and he always chasing but thankyou for all the posts i thought i was gonna get hammerd for writing what i did top people hopefully in 3 months my post will be the first catch for my pup :laugh: :boogy: ps also the dog isnt nasty 1 bit very soft dog lol

thanks for the posts yes ivedone all the work we the skins etc tbh he isnt really intrested in skins or dead game and i dont do any type of ferreting im gonna leavehim well alone untill he is 12 months and just take himto watch the older dogs and his sister (wich is allready had double figures and retriving) the bond between us couldnt get any better if i tried recall etc is all superb cheers lads

magic why not ive never known that to be a issue and i no he is 8 months mate i havent hammerd him on the rabbits runs etc ive had a few dogs in my time this is a first and just a bit stunned he wont be runnin nothing else now just taking to watch but is there a chance the penny will never drop

i have read a few post about pups not killing etc but my pups weird he is 8 months and was very promosing i did all my lamp work with him recall is brilliant and didnt run him on anything untill around a month ago i used to take him with the older dogs just to watch anyway one night the older dogran at two rabbit and one of the rabbits was just scared to move so i thought id slip the dog anyway the rabbit ran and he was absolute all over it cruising like a veteran and it got dowwn under a fence pup was straight back i was amazed anyway my mate come back from northampton with a live rabbit so i
