ive trapped stoats over the years for various reasons and in the last week have had a little c**t come and take my misses fancy chickens, this was on thursday he got very close to geting nailed by my terriers and lurcher but it wasnt to be, anyway set all the the fens i had in tunnels round the pens only to be woken last night with my egg birds going nuts out again in ma pants and the dogs nearly had him again(this b*****d can climb some) but to no avail. my question to you guys is whats the best method you have used for stoats? i have 5 no4 fens round pen and 2 cages in differant parts of the

i build metal sheds/barns workshops and the amount of folk that knock the anti condensation barrier off is crazy, its only an extra £1 or so a m2 and it reely makes the differance these folks are normally on the phone after the first drip or buy the composit sheet with the insulation already between two peices of tin this is the dogs nuts you can buy it from 40mm insulated to 120mm. if a proper job aint the answer go with labs idea you will save in the long run with labour atb cammy. ps do you keep animals in shed?

lack of bunnies is pissing me off, plenty ground just very few bunnies walk 5 mile for 1 slip. i still go and check just in case theres a population boom lol

kc reg is the biggest rip off about, who checks what lines are what? who checks the breeder didnt lie on the application? this kc reg pish reely gets on my goat if the dog is going to work its in the feild you will find out if any good or not, not reading its unreliable anncestory. theres an excellent article in edrd about it more refering to teckels thow but the principle is the same.

got a stealth cam pro sniper for christmass, set it up yesterday around chicken pen was eagerly waiting on result. well got up to find my misses fancy birds had been killed bt a stoat so headed straight for the cam to see if i had got a pic, not f****n 1 of the stoat but got my neighbours ponnies and ma lurcher but no vermin. is there specific ways of seting it up for smaller vermin? am new to photography so any tips would be greatly welcome atb cammy

well i found a caterpiller in one of the water bowls in the kennels yesterday, was thinking its a bit out of season! never tryed to rescue it thow just fed it to the chickens lol

there used to be some of the best ferreting on the outskirts of edinburgh in every direction but now its all f****d for rabbits, there are pockets here and there but nothing compared to years gone by. you might find somone lucky enough to still have a few but i wouldnt hold your breath. hope you enjoy your stay all the same cammy

take her to the vets peace of mind if nowt else, i was always told when leting pups run around you keep your other dogs out the way as its almost cert the pup will banjo into them.

talk shit on THL i thought was the norm -
no seen a kite hear but the buzzard is geting to big for his boots he been trying to get my bantams every morning this week, the rabbits are really thin on the ground hear this year so i do think he is geting hungray. only seen 1 kite when i was keeper in perthshire and it was happily pulling the breast out a warm partridge, dont know if it killed it but it didnt finnish it

ive 3 lavender araucana about 12 weeks old and 1 mini silkie, am looking to keep a trio of each breed so wondered if anybody would want a swap? i could also do with a couple of pointers sexing both these breeds? cheers

no seen many rats this year normally have a couple of farms i do but all quiet and it has been pissing down all year here

what type of trap is it? try keeping them open and let the scuts feed for few weeks to get them confident in feeding there then when theres plenty feed shifting set the trap.

if you see them citizens arrest them as this is an illegal act well the grey squirrel is dont know about rabbit.

cheers for for response, i wasny around in 50s but if you look back in some game records for the big estates the numbers of grouse are unbeleivable, so it wouldnt suprise me them droping onto grain feilds for a scratch about.
