How do you know he's eating the rabbit Jimmy? Have you dug down to him and found partly eaten rabbits? no bud, he is coming out with lots of rabbit fur on his claws and blood all over his face

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice... i was out ferreting last weekend with the shotgun and the ferret does not chase anything out the warren, he goes down and just eats the rabbit , how much should i feed him before going out and when should he get fed ?? cheers jimmy.
