not long picked them up,they are livly wee fookers eh! ive now got 2 hutchs that will do for now but plan to get a bigger one soon since the fooker off gumtree is a fanny and keeps wasting my time. ive split the hobs and jill up,gotta say i was abit unsure about sticking my hand in there at first,i thought they could be biters or they will run like fook/try escape,3 ferrets 2 hands ive no chance,soon as i tryed to open the hutch the 3 were charging out but once the door was open then are easy handled and stroll about exploring everything without a care,dont even try escape! i got some

Ive been searching about for ferreting gear and maybe 1-2 ferrets. Ive been speaking to someone who has offered me a hutch,carrying box(holds 3 ferrets),30 nets and 2 polecats(18 month old) 1 jill(7 month old) the owner says they are tame and good workers,all that for for £35,i was seriously considering this but found out none of them have been neutered,and from seeing posts on here i know the jill will be in season soon if she isnt already,so theres a good chance ill end up with more than three ferrets if the jill can go into season at 7 month? So what do yous think,pass on this offer

fair point mate,if that was the case with the ones i might get then id consider stoping using them to work but keep them as pets livin beside my working ferret,its called bein responsible for your actions

what have i started... i understand were yous are coming from,cmon £10 for 2,a reckon the 2 ferrets would cost the ssapca alot more than that.fook the £10 and the boss that makes lots of money,surly the ferrets are better off with a owner whos gonna look after them..

Being a new member and also seeing new members post in this subforum i think it would be a good idea to have a pinned topic in there with answers to questions that are asked alot.It would stop members having to answer the same question alot,and would also help the new member,finding most answers pinned on page one instead for searching through lots of pages(not everyone is good with pcs/searching forums) and maybe getting alittle grief when they ask a question thats repeated alot(not had that problem myself)
