I bought a few snares from a member a few weeks ago,since then ive been trying to learn how to snare rabbits..To be honest ive had no real luck untill the other day when most likly a fox lifted a rabbit and snare...I decided to try snare the same beat since it worked before...I went up tonight and found the first snare had closed but nothing on it,then seen the rabbit hadnt got through the second Its took a while but am well chuffed i finaly got my first rabbit,fair enough it shouldnt have got past the first snare but it gives you alittle more hope to see results Thanks to the snare the

  9. probaly mate but they aint fighting,so far there hasnt been any hints of any problems.theres probaly more of a problem between one of jills and hob kit than any with the adult hob and others.looking at them you would think it would be ok,but ive seen other posts in the past so thought id post for peice of mind

  12. that would be the same for all the ferret veterans on here that keep one vaced hob in with 4 + jills all year round,i know the benifits of having a vaced hob but if it wasnt safe why would they keep them together. edit:maybe i misunderstood your post,if so i mean risky because at times some can get badly injured i.e 1 hob and 1 jill together..i was asking if member think it would be to risky keeping them together,all seems to be ok the now but last thing i want is a injured or dead ferret

  14. ive got a 13 week hob that likes to bite at times,i try put my finger down the wee fookers throat when possible.ill keep handling him more and hopfully that does the trick
  15. id like to put all my ferrets intogether 24/7,i picked up a 13 week hob(fooking biter needs sorted lol) last night so thats 3 jills and 1 hob intogether,today i decided to put my other hob(thats in season) in with the other 4 that arent in season.hes had a good wrestle with the others but they seem to give as good as they get thats including the 2 kits and it looks like hes playing with them.i know normaly its better to keep the hob in season away but since he would be in with another 4 do yous reckon it should be ok,or still to risky? i do plan to get the oldest hob nuetered and the yo

I got permission yesterday at a local livery,so today i thought id go over with the 2 jills and hob to show am keen and not like the previous people the wumin mentioned that took the piss abit.Anyway i went over in the pissing rain walked all over the livery and seen no holes or rabbits,the wumin swears theres a few rabbits about but i seen nothing,there was a few holes in the field near by and there was alot of over grown nettles etc between the field that i looked through best i could.The wumin was good enough to let me work the land so i told her ill be back in a month or two once everythin
