    Was out yesturday with the hounds. We entered the first wood not much showing, so we moved on to the next wood which was only over the other side of a track, they where soon on to a scent whipping away just a few minutes wait for the cry and the soon started as they pushed on through the thick cover, wasnt to long and the first gun went off,radio call its gone back in, i was going out of my mind at this point, the hounds kept going and going strong they where, then another bang and hounds where out and soon on to it.     The prices are through the roof, i bet if you had a dog 100% for £100 some one would say there some thing wrong with it. But when they put big prices people say he must be a good dog for that price. It will never change.

    Thats sh.t we can only drift net, cant have no fixed no at all. Hope season picks up and weather gets better.

    Dont go near the straits water to fast, only fish there with rod and line.. I cant tell you where i fish, you mite be there be for me. Haha

    We only fish shallow water fixed of the boat drop them in 10ft and let tide drop and turn a few hours an pick up in 6ft, We use 10ft x 100 yards and usually have 400-500 in a line in the rocks come sep-oct big numbers. We drift net with 800yards and some times only get a hand full other times get big numbers. There a place we fish with a 100yard net we got 108 in an hour, another tides in 3 nites we got 15boxes of bass. All fish avrage 3.5-5lb.. Last year was a very poor year.
