That explains a lot for me, the land i shoot on is completely surrounded by grouse moor ! The stoat poulation there is also very healthy, i saw 3 the last time i was out, no wonder the local keepers aren't very fond of them ! Cheers for all the replies folks, been very interesting reading !

You can get an ultrafire 501 led torch from the dealextreme website for less than a tenner delivered, i've got 2, both putting out 300 lumens, one with a white, one with a red led ! You can't go wrong for the money ! They do take 2-3 weeks to arrive but it's worth the wait !! I got a good set of rechargeable batteries for them and they last several trips between charges !!

That looks like a mk2 stock to me, all the mk3's ive seen have the forend of the stock fluted towards the buddy bottle same as the r10 ! Good shooting though !

If you're using 2x cr123's end to end in your torch then get a 18650 rechargable battery off the dealextreme website instead ! They're basically just 2xcr123's joined together in one battery ! They come in packs of 2 for about a fiver, they sell the chargers too for about the same price ! I bought the trustfire branded ones and they're excellent, you easily get a full nights lamping from them !!

Hi buddy, be careful not to shoot leaning the barrel or silencer on the window frame of the motor, the ultra has a floating barrel so that could move your POI ! I was always missing when i rested the silencer on the landy wing mirror for shots, worked out that's what was happening ! ATB Donny
