  1. cheers alan and bird, hopefully in the next few vids you will see the improvement in the young dogs yapping, she gets better the more you take her out, getting better each time
  2. and by the way, if we were going for numbers we would obviously of netted the holes, but on that permission it didnt matter so why not give the dogs a bit more fun
  3. you think this because you cannot see the rabbits that have been caught, they catch most of them over the brow of the hill on the flat as you should know, little dogs arent the best uphill
  4. cheers mate, the young dark dog only does yap when shes running with other dogs, but with perseverance we will get there
  5. thanks bird, we had to take two for the big warrens where the holes would be either side of a fence ect so we could have 1 on each side
  6. he doesnt state that dougall, he means that its a lot harder to catch one going up a hill like that.
  7. dogs that work as good as they look credit to you mate.
  8. i have a first cross bed/whippet thats just over 18 months and is coming on very well at ferreting and lamping and will tackle any cover. However, if your looking to not just lamp rabbits or hares if your on holiday, then an influence of greyhound would suit your needs a little more, but as i say if your looking for a nice little rabbiting (and hares if your on your hols in ireland or wherever its legal) then a bedlington/whippet will be ideal, heres a quick video of my first cross (the dark one) and my mates bedlington/whippet with a bit of greyhound (the lighter grey one).
  9. looks a productive night, well done
