  14. I'm reading The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan at the moment, a must read. This book is packed with surprises about today's food industry, factory farming & how Organic food is really produced today. 15. Don't know much ! but the pigs sound a good cross & the age for the pig to go on the spit is up to u , how big do u want it ? I have seen a few spits as I used to sell alot of firewood to a few people doing this type of thing for parties, weddings, etc. I always had to drop the wood off the day before as they would start early in the morning as it takes a while to do. I can remember a 4 month old pig taking a good 4 to 5 hours to cook, also all the spits I have seen used a elec motor to turn the pig & they all used to buy a cord to get the job done, maybe having a few stkies left over ! A
