  1. I will be helping Tony with this all I can please help too if you can. You will find yourself in an episode of Country Pursuits TV (if you desire) And you'll be part of something really cool that will help our lads and lasses that fight the good fight. It is for a great cause that I know is already well thought of on here. ATB Malc CPTV
  2. Malc Barnard + FE I am speechless Si/Davy I think this is such a fantastic gesture. I know the club will be so very pleased. I really do appreciate it guys. ATB Malc CPTV
  3. In this episode I am lucky enough to have had the time to put a camera in front of two of the greatest airgun shooters of all time. Dave Welham and Terry Doe were at the forefront of Field Target. Dave tells a few tales about how it was in the good old days and Terry shares some great stories including one where he gets shot in the lunchbox with a paintball gun. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did filming it. ATB Malc CPTV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W0qx8LBVN0
  4. In this episode I talk through Jerry Moss's brilliant footage supplied for Country Pursuits TV. Jerry is a Red Squirrel Ranger, it his job to control the population of grey squirrels in the area where the Red squirrels are still living. There are estimated to be only 140,000 red squirrels left in Britain, with over 2.5 million greys. As you can guess Jerry has his work cut out but with this new rifle high power rifle from Daystate he now has enough power to kill them two at a time. Hope you enjoy it. 5. Thank you for looking in guys Hope this works tonight I am shooting a spot with not many rats on for a review. Kind of makes the review not work if I don't shoot anything LOL ATB Malc
  6. Thank you all for leaving your thoughts I was a little gutted to say the least that the pellets were just to slow. Would have been nice to see the rats reaction to being hit with 50 grains of church roof =) Oh well back to the drawing board ATB Malc

Si Pittaway and Davy Thomas have seen the footage. If you like watching hi power air rifles doing what they are designed to do you'll love it! ATB Malc

  9. In this episode I was joined by Alex Honeywell (junior HFT superstar and winner of the RSN10 memorial cup 2012) for some ratting with a 30 cal test rig designed by Airgun design master John Bowkett. John contacted me and told me that he had been playing with 30 cal for years but could never get accuracy with the available ammo. Since the release of the amazing and brilliant Daystate Wolverine .303 John has been very keen to send me his 30 cal test rig to have a play with. John was very keen to see if the pellet would improve the rifles accuracy. John has been able to get good shot counts and
  10. Hi guys I thought I would start a little series doing quick tips on everything to do with hunting and shooting. In this episode I show you my favourite method of making rat bait. http://www.youtube.c...ed/C0oz37AEBhY" ATB Malc
  11. Money from these videos brought a tin of pellets.... Well almost =) I have spoken to the trade and I have been told that John Rothery will be sending these out to the shops as soon as they put the orders in. I have not used them on rats just yet but will be in the near future. On rabbits they have been very effective so I am guessing on rats they will be just as good. Thank you all very much for the kind comments. Sorry for the delay in reply I do not seem to be getting notifications. ATB Malc CPTV
  12. Hi Andy Not yet but if they are popular enough in the other calibers they might look in to it. Shame they would be great in .20 Thanks for watching bud ATB Malc
  13. Sorry not been in for a while chaps but life at Country Pursuits TV keeps me pretty busy. Hopefully the new video will make up for not being about for a bit. Any questions please ask. In this episode I visit one of my local Golf Course permissions to carry out some much needed Rabbit control. I use the Hammerli AR20ft again to great effect! Used with the H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme pellets & NiteSite NS50 this combination was quite literally deadly. I have not used the MTC Mamba for this set up before but I will be in the future. The SCB reticule works a treat with this kind of
  14. As some of you will know I am a fan of John Bowkett's work so I took a camera over to hertford to meet up with two like minded Bowkett fans and check out their rifles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIKFoQL8SfA&feature=youtu.be New style video please let me know warts and all ATB Malc CPTV
  15. Can you imagine Rob with that lot coming towards him "NEW PANTS PLEASE"
  16. Thank you for all the encouraging comments guys it really is appreciated. I have been looking around at other breasting techniques. I have another to share with you in a video agin soon =) ATB Malc
  17. Thanks guys good tip from Davy about the horses and one thing to remember is that if you run they will chase you LOL If you stand firm and hold out your arms they will stop. If you have a livley young horse just keep an eye on them once your turned towards them they will back down. If you see the arse coming your way MOVE! Does anyone know why I am not getting notifications? I quite like it on here especially when breasts are added to the subject ATB Malc
  18. In this episode Si Pittaway (VerminHuntersTV) and I take a trip to my local farm and then on to a Golf course permission for some night vision rabbiting. However the weather had other ideas, due to the rain pouring down in the afternoon we did not get to drive the golf course and shoot the Daystate MK4is with the NiteSite on. We did manage to film two textbook stalks with Si getting up close and personal with a pigeon and a bunny. There is some great footage in this clip and as you can see at the and of the video Si and I always have a giggle when we shoot together. I hoe you enjoy the video p
  19. This video is brilliant Si I really enjoyed it and I am glad I am not the only one that giggled/chuckled at the term "winged meanace" LOL Puts a smile on my face that and rest assured I will be using it on Country Pursuits TV soon Try not to focus on this falling out with Anthony Si you did nothing wrong and in my eyes that is all there is too it. Keep up the good work hope to shoot again with you soon. ATB Malc Country Pursuits TV
  20. Thank you Si, Great piture Milegajo I wish I had thought to take some aftermath photos never mind.... I was thinking of setting up for Wasps as it goes woodcote1 so you may well see this on the channel soon =) Never shot anything quite so satisying as this ATB Malc
  21. I was at The Shooting Ground today setting up a special edition .25 John Bowkett tuned BSA Ultra for some rat shooting when along came three flies.... three very unlucky flies! 25.4 grains of JSB King bad luck to be precise. Let's see if the anti's have anything to say about this kind of pest control This was the most satisfying shooting I have done in a long time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLrFjn0gVHc
  22. I am glad to see this has created a good amount of discussion and it seems to be that most prefer the traditional knife method. I have to say I found it relatively easy to do and as most of the rabbits I shoot go to bird of pray or for fox food I am not too worried about the meats quality. If on the other hand they were going to be for the pot I would most likely gut and skin them in the field in one of the more traditional methods. It seems a good point about them being lighter when carried about though. I bet if you were carrying 10-20 rabbits about with no guts you would appreciate the
  23. Works a treat and does not split the intestines either. Look at the Video response underneath for the original video of a guy called Steve doing it and he shows you how it all stays together. Brilliant!
  24. Is this the fastest way to gut a rabbit? Does anyone know of a quicker way? Shooting it with a .243 or 50 cal does not count as gutting
