In this episode I talk through Jerry Moss's brilliant footage supplied for Country Pursuits TV. Jerry is a Red Squirrel Ranger, it his job to control the population of grey squirrels in the area where the Red squirrels are still living. There are estimated to be only 140,000 red squirrels left in Britain, with over 2.5 million greys. As you can guess Jerry has his work cut out but with this new rifle high power rifle from Daystate he now has enough power to kill them two at a time. Hope you enjoy it. Money from these videos brought a tin of pellets.... Well almost =) I have spoken to the trade and I have been told that John Rothery will be sending these out to the shops as soon as they put the orders in. I have not used them on rats just yet but will be in the near future. On rabbits they have been very effective so I am guessing on rats they will be just as good.
