  1. Quote: Hi Darryl and Gary. brilliant pictures, first class that like. Like the one with Gary stood up to the wall, rifle shouldered. Looks like the sunset in a muzzle flash......very clever use of Was going to say the same. lol Hope he didn't rip his pants on the barbed wire.
  2. Happy birthday Festa. I'm the one on the left. (in my dreams, I'm prob old enough to be her mum. lol)
  3. Also if you have a Buffs/buffaloes/ROAB. (ask descreatly at a few local pubs) From what I understand, they are like a poor mans version of the masons. They do lots of fund raising for charities & individuals. (The lodge (back room of a pub)in the area that I used to live has given nebulisers to people that were desperate for one.) So it is well worth making enquries for the help that is needed, If they can help they will.
  4. I like what someone has wrote benith the article. "Good thing he didn't have genitle warts" lol As someone who sufferes with terrable, burning, athlets foot I can ALMOST (but not quite) understand him. At least we can do something he can't ...

  6. Thanks for the heads up, good thing i saw this, as I will be buying some deeks in the very near future. What would hurt them the most (financhilly) would be to find a way to draw their missdealings to the attention to google & such like. (I think it's impossable at the moment/no legislation for search engions) have them thrown off of all the search listings! Other than that, ... Does anyone know a bunch of anties that would like to 'meet' a dealer.
  7. I'd be calling 'The knights that say ni' to deal with it. (A monty python sketch involving a wear rabbit for anyone who doesn't know.)
  8. Good shooting If I tried that, It would be my luck for someone to see me & phone the cops. " There's someone waving a gun around, aaaarrrrrrggghhhh." lol
  9. Quote: PM sent to them, many thanks chaps, think we could have found one, will update at the weekend! Good luck, hope it goes smoothly this time.
  10. Short of sticking salotape over the trigger guard so you can't catch the trigger accidently. I can't come up with anything constructive. You've overcome more than alot of people & you've got the guts to shoot, not many of us lasses even consider shooting. I am sending you a PM.
  11. Welcome Paul. You sound like you've got your head screwed on right. We have quite a secretive hobby here.
  12. Very nice. They look plush. The strap being on the side rather than the edge looks like it'd be alot more secure to carry, without it swinging out & hitting everything like mine does.
  13. Two hunters got a pilot to fly them into the far north for elk hunting. They were quite successful in their venture and bagged six big bucks. The pilot came back, as arranged, to pick them up. They started loading their gear into the plane, including the six elk. But the pilot objected and he said, "The plane can only take four of your elk; you will have to leave two behind." They argued with him; the year before they had shot six and the pilot had allowed them to put all aboard. The plane was the same model and capacity. Reluctantly, the pilot finally permitted them to put all six aboard. But
  14. Welcome to THL forum, hope you have an EGGsalent time.
  15. Just recently got my first air rifle so I'm not fully 'kitted out' yet. For plinking in the garden (all I've done so far) I have salotaped some printed off targets onto an old kitchen cupbord door that my uncle asked me to dump for him. I lean this forward against the edge of a fence post. I fetch it back inside after plinking so it does'nt get wet & turn to mush. When I've got rid of my two rabbits, I'll use the hutch to set up a more permanant (rain proof) target set-up. (Quite apt I think.) lol.
  16. Thanks Si. I'm a newbi & am just setting up, So this info has been put to very good use & got my 7 ltr 300 bar tank with filling kit ordered.
