  1. cheer's si, i was adjusting the objective lens first then focusing the camera,therefore getting a clearer image but blurry cross hairs

WENT OUT THIS EVENING WITH THE MK4 AND A CASIO EX-FC150 SLOW MOTION CAMERA.HAD THE CAMERA OVER SIX MONTH'S BUT RARELY USE IT AS I FIND IT ABIT TO FIDDELY TO FOCUS PROPERLY.WHEN YOU GET IT RIGHT IT DO'S TAKE EXCELLENT SLOW MO VIDEO'S.DID A TEST SHOT ON A BOTTLE TOP AT 32 MTR'S TO MAKE SURE VIDEO AND ZERO WERE OK.ALL RABBITS WERE SHOT BETWEEN 20-30 MTR'S DUE TO THE STRONG GUST'S OF WIND.THE PIGEON WAS SHOT AT 30 MTR' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsKAKlSk2Xw

  7. cheer's bill,most of the rabbit's are in top condition and numbers increasing ever time i go.on the last two outings i've shot rabbits with early sign's of mixy (one eye closed)but not seen any full blown one's ,

  10. HAD A PHONE CALL THIS MORNING FROM THE FARMER WERE I DO MOST OF MY RABBIT SHOOTING. HE SAID THAT ON HIS OTHER FARM WERE I USE MY SHOTGUN THERE WAS ALOT OF PIGEON AND CROWS DOING DAMAGE TO HIS RAPE.HE EVEN OFFERED TO PAY FOR MY CARTRIDGES . HAVING EXPLAINED IT WAS MY DAY OFF TOMORROW IT WOULD BE MY PLEASURE TO SORT THE PIGEON/CROWS OUT AND THAT I WOULD BE UP THIS EVENING TO SORT THE RABBITS OUT.ARRIVED AT PERMISSION AROUND 2 .QUICK ZERO TO THE R-10 AND IT WAS OF TO FIND THE RABBITS.DID'NT TAKE LONG, THE FIRST FIELD I ENTERED HAD 4 HEAD'S DOWN FEEDING. LASERED 32 MTR'S FIRST ONE DOWN .FURTHER
  11. hi peter,this is my set up. the camcorder is a panasonic sd800.the mount i use is a seben,i mainly use it to mount the camcorder on top of my scope,but can be used for scope cam footage.for scope cam i cut a piece of 50mm drain pipe and fitted the sun shade adapter supplied with the camcorder to one end with black tape,the other end fits nicely over the end of my scope. ste

ON MY LAST FEW OUTINGS I'VE CHOSEN THE MK4 DAYSTATE OVER THE R-10.TODAY I FOUGHT I'D TAKE THE R-10 OUT FOR A CHANGE.WOW I'D FORGOTTEN WHAT AN AWESOME RIFLE IT IS.AFTER 3 SHOTS ZEROING I WAS HITTING A KNOT IN A PIECE OF WOOD AT 30 MTR'S.THE FIRST RABBITS I CAME ACROSS WERE BUSY FEEDING ,SO I MANAGED TO GET WITHIN MY 30 MTR'S.A 15.9G DAYSTATE HIGH ENERGY PELLET WAS SPAT OUT AT 11.8 FT/LB TOWARDS THE RABBITS HEAD ,SPOT ON PERFECT HEAD SHOT.THE 2ND WAS JUST AROUND THE CORNER BUT HAD'NT HEARD THE SHOT THANK'S TO THE TWINK MK2 SILENCER,LASERED 32 MTR'S,SHOT TAKEN ANOTHER CLEAN HEAD SHOT.THE NEXT 2 R

  16. hi tony,i have a harris swivel bipod.the swivel bit is a bit misleading ,you can tilt the gun to the left our right,thats all.
  17. i've had my mk4 for two years now and had no problems.lovely rifle to shoot and very accurate.the electrics are brilliant . i would check it on a chrono as mine was only 10.5f/lb.and don't go for a daystate silencer go for a twink,i've had the mk4 and 5 and both caused pellet clip.

  21. FRIDAY DAY OFF AND THE WEATHER LOOKS GOOD FOR A CHANGE 11 O'CLOCK AND I HEAD OF TO MY PERMISSION,FIRST STOP OF AT THE CAFE FOR A FULL ENGLISH . ARRIVED AT 12-30 AND DID A 10 SHOT ZEROING SESSION ,GLAD I DID BECAUSE IT WAS SHOOTING 1 MILDOT HIGH AT MY 30 MTR ZERO.THERE WAS A LOT OF JACKDAWS AND PIGEONS AROUND THE FARM (FARMER FEEDS HIS COWS CHOPPED MAIZE AND THATS WHAT THE BIRDS ARE AFTER) A QUICK WALK AROUND THE BARNS AND 3 PIGEON AND A JACKDAW ARE IN THE BAG ALL SHOT BETWEEN 25-35 MTR'S. WALKED DOWN TO THE FIELDS THE SUN WAS SHINING SO I TOOK A VID OF THE 2 CASTLE'S IN THE DISTANCE.
