    I heard the dog refused to eat after after he died and so died himself. Now that is real devotion to his master, he must have had a link with his dog most of us will only dream of having. R.I.P

    Typical, I thought M.P's Where supposed to stand for the same things as their constituants, They shouldn't be allowed to tell you what they support and what they dont, they are supposed to be fair and unbiased.

    Got the same trouble with my 2, they are fine in the garden and when walked on their own but when together, I have to catch 1 for the other to come. I don't mean run and catch they generally pass at my side when called, but if they are both a distance out then I have to wait for them to stop being arses.

    Well there you are Springer....the dog whisperer has spoken, you know what to do!!!! I wasn't thinking of quite such drastic action, I want to do a bit of flushing and rabbiting with them.

    Any advice on what I should do with them would be greatly appreciated, They were going to go to Battersea If I didn't take them on. I have had dogs before mainly Irish wolf hounds and a springer a cocker and a sprocker, all have done what I need of them perfectly. Is there anything I should know about training labs, or dalmations that would stand me in good stead? Oh, they're brother and sister he has had his nuts off but she is entire, and they have the basics sit/stay/recall I don't know how well they will do this for me to start with but they know them. Neither has been taught to retreve. A

    When I'm not working my dogs I take them out every day for an hours walk and play a lot of fetch with a tennis ball or small dummy (so my arms don't get too tired.) That way you keep them plenty active enough and able to sprint when you are working them and gives them the stamina to go for the night when they have the walking in between rabbits to regain their breath.     Your staff will eat raw meat. By taking it away when he turns his nose up at it you are making him a fussy eater. A dog wont let itself go hungry, if raw meat is all it has the option of it will soon eat it and like it. You just have to be consistant and not give in when he tries to make you feel guilty about not changing it.

    Boil the skull, then when you have got all the flesh you can see off, put it in a bowl of water with some biological washing powder works every time and doesn't damage the bone either.
