Hia Folks, heres a pic of my new pup, as some of you may have read the pup i kept back from the litter i bred last year broke his neck in a freak collision with his mam. Anyway this is the new kid on the block, he`s a bitza worker to worker bred, i`ve seen his sire work {pre ban} catching some strong winter hares, his sire is deerhound/greyhound X bedlington/greyhound His dam is a mix of collie whippet greyhound and some bull somewhere in their too lol. I think he`s a crackin looker, {fingers crossed} he`ll work as good as he looks. But he`ll have this one as a mentor so thi

Thanks Moll n Bullet, their wont be a repeat mateing, me and black dogs seem to have nowt but bad luck I will have one more litter from her though at some point, though as yet i`ve not found a suitable working stud. Cos if you ask anyone with a suitable looking stud to see their dog at work they say yes then you never hear from them again. Yis Mars.

Just an update for those that showed some interest in the pups. Their now about 8 month old, and from the people who`ve kept in touch i`ve heard good things of the pups, all it seems are quick to learn & headstrong at times lol, 1 is already a regular on ferreting trips and others showing early promise on the lamp. Unfoutunatly the pup i kept back for myself did`nt make it past 5 month old in a freak collision with his mother he broke his neck. shame as his obidence was coming on great for pup of his age. so keep in touch those of you that had a pup and hopefully i`ll be hearing mo

In one sense i have to agree with you wilf, having had my fingers burnt a couple of times trying to go for a quick fix, But on the other hand i am privelidged ! to own the most awsome working lurcher i have ever owned, and she was "FREE" to good home of a site similar to this. So overall i say let them advertise on here, and the old adage should apply to whatever you buy "Buyer Beware" Yis Mars.

The thing that pisses me of is the people that think a certain cross is only good for a certain type of quarry and to work in a certain way, I thought a lurcher was supposed to be for working all sorts of quarry in a varity of ways, or is their a class system amongst dogs as well Yis Mars.

The pups are 5 weeks old today, i`me having problems with me puter at the moment so cant post any up to date pics, shame as i`ve got a good pic of one of the pups retriveing at 4 weeks old, Their are 2 bitches and 5 dogs left, I`ve had a lot of messers contact me and people who think a "bull cross" should be some kind of penis extension to those people these pups are bred for Lurcher work in all it`s forms. Seen one on warrick services of all places last sunday, had to pull over to let the dog empty out as i`de fed him a load of veg with his meat n the fecker was stinking the van out, Only seen it cos he flushed it from bushes by the car park. Yis Mars.

sorry mars, found out today you are the owner of the other dog i know the lad who's dog you put over your bitch and what a dog he is! i can vouch for the dog as ive seen him in action P.M.S.L. It`s bad enough getting the dogs mixing the dogs up, but the owner of that stud dog is one Ugly Fecker, and you have to worry about a bloke who wears flip flops like that. Yis Mars.

theirs a couple going to mates n one going to a bloke who had a pup from her last litter, he rang me to tell me how well his dog was doing i mentioned that my bitch had just had another litter and he came round and put a deposit their and then i`ll be keeping one back myself, but with a litter of 11 that still leaves me a few to sell and i thought on here i Might Find Decent Working Homes for them.
