    I fecked up with the racing, was going to enter my pup but got their too late for the simulated coursing, so entered him for the puppy straight racing, anyway went for a little walk only to return to see the pups chasing up the field, so missed that as well :crazy: Still,!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 2nd with the pup int show, then a 2nd with the Bull X. Yis Mars.

    I.M.O. This show was not up to it`s usual standard, i have been going to this show for years one year when it pelted down with rain and cars had to be towed on and off the field with a tractor :wacko: This year the racing was great, even if you had to pay £2 for your dog to chase a bit of rag up a field :wacko: I think it was the price rise of everything that i.m.o. killed the normal club atmosphere, £3 per person to get on the field, £2 per class for showing, has the credit crunch got to working dog shows too.?????     I have to disagree silenthunter and stan22, Not trying to cause an argument, By 8 weeks old IF you`ve spent enough time with the pups you should have a pretty good idea of which one it is you want to keep back. If you do like you say you then have to consider the extra cost of getting Jabs for two pups, Because keeping two is going to put you behind when it comes to socialiseing your pup I.E. getting it out in public getting it used to different noises and people, lead training, and basic obidence, Pups left too long with their litter mates running wild in the pen/garden are confi

    With the litter my Bull X will hopefully be having soon, my 1st prefrence will be a rough coat, fingers crossed i`ll get at least one with the sires coat, Then at around about 4 weeks of age i get each pup on it`s own and see how it behaves with just me for company, and i`ll do some retrive training with a little cuddly toy, the one that wants to bring it straight back to me would be the one i`de choose, Yis Mars.

    It was good to meet you Foxyjo, that pup of yours is a little cracker, she does need a bit more socialising like you said but a real looker i thought, Unlike yourself, Wurzel Gummidge ON A BAD DAY more like Was well worth the 400 mile round trip, to meet up with Moorman 1 and his wheaton/grey dog, nice compact lurcher that obviously knows it`s job Yis Mars.

    Good luck with your new pup, It`s the spitting image of my bitch at that age, I to got her of the internet, {smoochers} From a lad who called himself Bull X dont know if he`s still on the net, but i thank that man from the bottom of my heart for giving me the chance to own what has turned out to be the best working dog i`ve ever owned, and i`ve worked dogs for over 30 years, Give the dog the time and training it needs, it looks to have the phyisical attributes it`s down to you to give it the knowledge, My bitch Yis Mars.
