5/8 3/8 bull greyhound - what would you line her with?

You obviously like your bull types as you would`nt own one already, so why not put a 3/4 Grey 1/4 Bull to her, you should get some racy pups in the litter, as for brains a bull x is as good as any other breed for training. it`s all about the Time & Effort YOU put in when their young, with the plus side that the dog would be a good just in case dog. Well Bezza, this is some thread you`ve started. I have to say that i do/did agree with you up to a point. you do see a lot of teenage lads struting around with their Big Bull X dog as if to say "Look at me" I even bought such a dog of this forum, turned out the dog just looked the part though.. Anyway thats as far as i`ll go to agree with you. I belive that most lurchers correctly trained can be a capable pot filler, my own Bull x being such a dog, although this was not my intention when i originaly got her as she was mainly to be used alongside my terriers which i owned at the ti

Some of us dont have mum or dad to call, or if you were god forbid in an accident not all mums would be the right person to contact, Say you had a contact on your phone that said, Sis or bro..., these to the emergency services mean nothing, it could be the number for your little sister or brother, Who`s phone is turned of cos their at school or summat. Is it really to much trouble to put ICE in front of the name that You would prefer people contacted should it ever be needed... Mars...

A friend sent me this the other day, i`ve done this with my mobile now for a couple of years and just assumed everyone else did, it just seems like comonsense really... ICE campaign - "In Case of Emergency" We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends. i am stuck and im asking . could anyone answer my question on rabbits as regards to the best time to look for them and do they venture out much this time of year . thanks . A good time for checking out new land is an early morning walk, first light.. Ask the owner of the land where they see the most rabbits ect, they also would know if their is any other stuff on the land and where it would be, if their is fresh kickout around the earths/warrens look for possible tracks, hairs, and as others have said Smell is a good sign as to whats using an earth... Used to go to a Kebab house years ago on my way home from a night out, Until i read in the local paper one day that they`d been raided, and closed down when they found German Shepard skins in the bins,, Cant say i`de knowingly want to eat dog, but they were nice kebabs.... :sick:

I Second that arctic... the poor lad must be on curfew for the next 7 years.... cos at the age the dog is, that is a good estimate for the years of work he`d get from it..

LOL, I wonder what kind of dog you have.... Well surprisingly i do own a bull X LOL.... But i have owned a collie type, and although he was ok to train, but he just did`nt suit the varied type of work i like to do with my lurchers... :secret: which did`nt suit my character The collie type i used to own a few years back.. The Bull X i own now who puts up with my short fuse, :thumbs-up: Mars..

I.M.O. It`s as much about Your character as the dogs, If you`ve got a short fuse then perhaps a collie type is not for you as i.m.o. they can be a tad sensitive, Simba i agree Bull X .... Easy.... Yis Mars..

The Pure bred Manchester terriers i`ve seen have been Quite long in the leg being around 15" to 17"... I seem to remember reading recently that they are Quite rare these days.... Another breed ruined by the kennel club, Yis Mars..

From what i`ve read and seen of your threads then your dog I.M.O would be a suitable stud dog as going from your posts he`s certainly seen some work and is a very capeable dog... Some say though that a large percentage of a dogs working instinct is inherited from the dam, So i would say that if your planing on a replacement for your own dog i`de be sure of the dam you`d be using..
