    sorted This microchiping buiesness works, took him to the Local dogs home to scan for a microchip and the address came up to an adress in cumbria.. aparently the Dog was stolen Last weekend and he belongs to the Conniston Hunt, I cant tell you how chuffed i am, i only hope he gets to see years of hunt service..     Found this morning with no collar or i.d. In the longton area near the Ashwood pub A Youngish LAKELAND TERRIER. I picked this terrier up as i almost ran the little over, obviously no road sense It`s at my house now and to be totaly honest i would`nt mind if it stayed cos it`s fitted right in and is having loads of fun playing in the garden with my two lurchers...lol....     I`me all for microchipping, though i do think it has it`s failings.. I.E. i think all animals should be routinely scanned on any visit to a vets, and details checked against the details given, perhaps it should even be compulsory when purchasing an animal & to change the details if you sell the animal on.. One example i could give is, someone i knew had a 12 year old cat, this cat had come to her as a stray, i.e. the cat adopted her as they tend to do, this cat had had various health problems over the years, yet it was only recently that it was scanned and a microchip was found, e

    I spotted this dog too, unusual colour also looked in good condition, Myself & Mrs Mars camped their on the saturday night along with a few hundred others, !!!! that young lad off his face by about 19-30 and getting chased up the road by half a dozen coppers was funny as feck Managed to get sun burnt on the sunday, cos me Bull X pinched me hat, and i did`nt realise their was any racing on or i`de have give me pup a run... Mar lady was pleased this was her 1st time showing the Bull X and she got placed 2nd in the over 23" bitch... Have to admit i was surpris

    As someone has already put perhaps the initial aproach would be to put a polite notice, Until you know exactly where you stand leagaly. One sign i always remember seeing was. Could you cross this field in 9.8 seconds cos my Bull can cross it in 10, with a picture of an angry Bull Mars..

    I used to race my Bull X bitch and she Was Fine and only chased the lure, but She Was Attacked by a saluki type dog. Of course she retaliated and pinned the dog to the ground, thankfully the muzzle stayed on and no damage was done, But since that incident i`ve not been able to run her on a lure as she just squares up to the other dog... Not that i`me that bothered, it was only done as a bit of fun & a way of passing a bit of time, now i just do Obedience with her instead. I have to say though socks that any agression in the field is totaly focused on the Quarry, to the point that i`ve
