i got a old bulldog grafting shovel from car boot,cut blade off and welded it to a piece of solid inch and half steel with a threaded join half way up so it comes apart and fits in quad box.f*****g heavy but a great bit of kit.all the lads up this way use them and they are a godsend on a hard dig.will cut through anything.im sure a few lads on here have seen them in action.

been building new release pens and mine just wander about all day.take them out with mink hounds and move a few litters of cubs if needed.apart from that they just do what they want but keep them fit.

get between thumb and first finger and twist the whole of the tick.that way you get body and legs.if only got a few ticks on them as you say, people say touch the tick with a hot match head and it makes them release.would take forever for me but give it a go if your dog only has a few on it.cheers mouse.

would not feel safe with my dogs in a plastic box im afraid.when dogs are in them for 7/8 hours do they not get a bit warm.got these on our bikes.

i will for 7 days after next week.taking the family for week in the motorhome.

we have 2 logburners in our place.one is in a fire place and has a top flue which goes straight up the chimney and is plated up.the other is free standing in the kitchen and i paid to have a proper flue straight up threw the roof.i have all the paperwork.if your chimney is fine then should be ok.i had mine checked out first because its not worth the risk especially with kids in the house.they are worth more than £750 quid of anybodys money.

they release charlies on a road that runs through the shootin estate i live on.the f*****g idiots think they are being kind but they either get shot or we dig them and despatch.some of the released ones are half tame and not got a chance in the wild.these are normlly the ones that take the birds and lambs because they cannot fend for themselves.its the bunny huggers that need f*****g controlling,total f*****g idiots.

never kennell 3 dogs together whatever sex.there will always be a dead one.

ours have 4 feeds a day,250ml each feed.got them under a lamp but can wander outside if they wish.as long as they are taking the milk they should be fine.you will notice that all of a sudden they will start to fill out.if they are bouncing around and feeding i would not worry.its when they just curl up and dont feed you need to worry..got 300 ewes starting to lamb today so we will have a few more around i think.only keep them because the kids enjoy rearing them.in my view they are a bloody nuisanc.
