    at some permission i have there is 3 large warrens with about 50 holes netted on each and about 40 foot long , i have currently only used 2 jills in them (only had a small box could only take 2)with minimal success. well on saterday i have a mate coming with his 3 ferrets and i will be taking 3 of mine and am just wondering how many of the 6 ferrets we are taking should we use in these large warrens? i have been told that if i put to many in there it increases the chances of a lay up because one of the ferrets bolting a rabbit into the jaws of another. could someone give me there oppinion on h

    hi all, i have 12 poly purse nets for sale they are 42 inch longs. bright coloured so you wont leave them behind (pink and purple mix) 2mm thick draw cord. NO pegs looking for around 20 pounds and 5 pounds postage. anymore infomation needed pm me

    iv been looking to get one of them for a while but you dont see them about much. i have a silver ferret and shes very light almost a blackeyed white but still got abit of silver in her keep a look out on the for sale pages mate theres bound to be some around come the spring will do pal cheers

    Sorry mate i meant there is a misconception that 'greyhound' ferrets are a small type ferret smaller than normal whereas in fact greyhound ferrets . . . . look like greyhounds, long, really roach back, pointed nose and normally albino it seems. ahh okay mate well shes very like that aswell and also very small

    iv always been told that the hunting season for ferreting is after the first frost on the ground till you start getting reasonably big babys when gutting the rabbits

    yeah thats true my dad said that he had an albino that turned out to be totally blind in the end but he use to wrk it and worked really well and to get it out he waved a piece of bacon in a hole lol

    totally agree with you all, i dont mind on colour all my ferrets are great workers and not really bothered about colour just like the silvers

    i am a 15 year old ferreter and have 6 ferrets in total. 2 silver gills,1 polcat gill,1 albino gill(greyhound type,tiny),sandy hob(for sale) and polcat hob, a real mixture and was just wondering what other peoples prefered coloured ferrets where and if anyone had the same oppinion as me (silver) thanks very much
