WHAT'S YOUR 22LR ZEROED IN AT?.
padgeman replied to PLEDGEY's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
PBR is Point Blank Range which is the range within which you can aim dead on and still hit within a specified target size. I zero at 55yds which gives me a PBR of 13.4yds to 64.1 yds for a 1.25" target size. Use Chairgun Pro to sort this out; tis good and very accurate! -
I looked at both of these but settled on the CZ when finances didn't get to the point where the HW was viable BUT the HW is heavier and the action new feels like a CZ's after a thousand rounds have cycled through it - smooooth!

I use Win Super X subsonics and zeroed the scope at 55 yards - this gives me from 15 to 63 yards aiming dead on (for a 1.5" killzone)and the SR6 recticule then gives me aim points for 70, 85 and 100 yards. I would recommend Chairgun Pro; it works really well if you know the mv and ballistic coefficient of your ammunition

Hi folks, I have a CZ452 with a 16" Varmint tube that came with the Edgar Brothers Sirocco SM11 moderator as part of the deal. I am only using subsonics at the moment and the crack from the muzzle is much louder than I expected! What moderators would others recommend? I notice that the SAK is well used but does anyone use the proofed Twink Mk2 or Hogan Decimeter as both seem to do well albeit there have been very few reports floating around on them that I have seen. I don't want to spend any more than around the £75 mark and ideally something light if not shorter than the SM11. Thanks,

Best bet would be to speak to your local FEO and see if the land has been cleared for FAC use; if not would it cleared if requested. You can't use an FAC rated firearm anywhere you like. My local FEO is a gem and simply visited the land I asked him to clear and rang me and told me it was all done. I suspect the acreage is as important as the likelyhood of not being able to guarantee a safe backstop as is the bigger the area the more likely it would be cleared. Good luck. David

Due to the arrival of my FAC, I am looking to sell my Theoben Scirocco. It is 22 flavour with a Tasco 4x40 scope, leather sling, qd swivels and I am including a Theoben fleece lined gun slip. This was bought from Theoben when they were at thier original shop and was thier demonstrator for a month when I bought it - yes, a good number of years ago! It has not been touched in any way other than feeding the stock to keep it in good condition. It is in really good condition but does have a very small patch of very light pitting on the barrel/moderator join. It has probably had about 2000 pell
