  1. If I sell my semi Auto soon I may be interested as berettas fit me better, I have a mint mk2 unregged .177 with 280 bottle Dr Bob bottle clamp 2 magazines and 19" barrel, Micheal Tawn scope rail and Phil D internals its stunningly accurate but I would only be interested if your gun is mint. Is your gun Cammo and 28" barreled? And where abouts are you?
  2. Boxed gun only a few months old, special ordered from Belgium in 26" for hide shooting but has a 2" extendable turkey choke to make it 28" plus five other chokes. All the accessories with the gun fully adjustable stock and fibre optic sights trigger lock sling swivels. Low recoiling gun that will shoot anything from Geese to Fox but ideal crow and pigeon hide gun. Absolutely unmarked gun as new. They retail at over £1200 now in this configuration and I want £895 for what is basically a new gun.
  3. Nobody has actually viewed this gun yet but the first that does will buy it definitely. Had full Nut and bolt rebuild so its like new and the stock is a rarity to find and I paid a lot for it. It comes with loads of bits and bobs full o ring set venom brass bits 2 magazines leather sling maybe bottle a good silencer HW or Decimeter but the Nikon scope would be a separate deal. I would swap for a mint Hyedua stocked Theoben gasram 90s guns interest me most like the Fenman and Taunus, but a good custom springer would interest me why! Its the bottom gun and every bit as good as th
  4. I had a 4-14x44 ffp bought it from MAG it was about £235 It was well made great ret positive clicks on the turrets and never lost zero. But Bad points were the optics were not Bushnell sharp plus the ret was easy to lose when on low mag because as you probably know it shrinks on low mag because of the FFP I would say they are a great target scope as you don't loose your aimpoints and built like a tank. But for hunting is was far too heavy on top of your rig adding at least a few pound and a half and it wasn't overly bright but the bigger ones are ok but still not massively
  5. Exelent Ive had my first barbell this year on Wednesday, forgot what they felt like after catching roach and skimmers all day, it didn't half stretch my gear.
  6. I don't hate fury and I don't hate haye. But I hate both klitschkos Now we seen what haye did with klitchco and it was boring. So who would you rather see fight klitcho? fury or haye again. I know who I would rather see and it would be fury, give the lad his turn now he may upset them more because of his height so it would be punch for punch a proper fight instead of all that posing and lurching haye did. So if haye and fury would jeopardize his chance of the bigger belts with klitschko bros then Im sure furys camp wont do it. I think it would be crazy to risk his chanc
  7. No mate .22 and about 100 shots per fill. atb.
  8. Up she goes my sorted fx2000 it has been reblued resealed and many new internal parts fitted and fettled by myself and restocked in walnut. It shoots around 11.8 fpe and will thumbnail group at 35yrds. It has 2 magazines, a full set of o rings, venom bits n bobs, sling studs fitted, a hogun or hw silencer and brass filler plug, and a thread protector, it will serve who ever buys it for the next 20years easily. I don't really want to sell it but I need to clear space but every bit as good as the newer guns and better than many. I know I wont ever find another as good so I want £
  9. One down near millers pub just below mapplewell, theres a track bang parallel to the railway bridge, just follow it down it starts about 10 o clock. I think its very two weeks on sunday morning, I haven't been for a few years but Ive heard targets have got better. Then there is wortley sporting clays near high green that's a good one plenty of good targets there but it gets busy that's again every 2 weeks on a sunday morning. Then theres boar shooting group above Penistone open 7 days a week one the side of the moor and being quite high up there is plenty of high bird targets comin
  10. No bother happy hunting let us know how you get on with it, Just one last thing I only use Airarms field because of their soft skirts that seat in the barrel smoothly. Accupell will shoot ok but they use hard lead and therefore they are hard to push home, this only puts stress on the probe and breach o ring, I don't like pushing hard on the bolt. Stick to Airarms field or JSB and you wont go far wrong and remember to always fully draw the bolt back so it clicks otherwise the mag wont rotate, its just a matter of getting the knack then your away, if it feels sticky something is wron
  11. Ive shot some squirrels in my time but thought I would put a picture of this up as it was unusually big and been feeding on the corn out of the pheasant feeders so It had to be shot, I put the gun up at the side for a size comparison.
  12. It should be all the airgun you ever need for hunting mate use AA field 5.52 and you wont go wrong. It should take 5 mins of pumping to fill and my make you break a bit of a sweat but nothing to bad. I used to fill mine with a pump many years ago but it isn't great for the filler valve because in effect the one way non return valve is opening and shutting with every pump and the o ring can eventually give up, if it loses air its usually from there but its a very easy fix if that happens and about £10 for the new part, its like a little brass cone with an o ring attached, always better
  13. No mate calls that you blow are totally legal otherwise you wouldn't see them for sale in most gun shops. But to be fair a crow call means nowt until you can learn to blow em right, I haven't met many who can blow them good enough to pull crows in properly from distance, but believe me with practice and the right technique it can be dynamite for them.
  14. Ive done over 300 I would say in the last 3-4 weeks well I should hope so anyway as Ive pissed over 500 shells into the wind Im into my third box. I did 38 wednesday afternoon and loads of 20-25 bird days as Im having some time off work at present so Im out everyday Ive had a 4 week binge, best 4 weeks shooting of my life. But you got to double your netting and tighten those chokes for the buggers and above all dont move a muscle until they are on top of you baby. Im having a pigeon drowt for the last few days Im getting nowt but the black stuff crows rooks jackdaws but Ill take em
  15. Quality , It has crossed my mind they have scary eyes, If ever there were british hill billys these are the ideal candidate, one of em looks like doc from back to the future same expression constantly.
  16. Its funny isnt it when you have a few permissions on your plate, and you hear nothing from the farmers for months on end then it gets to the point where they start drilling the corn and barley this time of year and suddenly they all want you at once. Oh well best crack another slab of 32grammers open, this will be 750 in 4 weeks for me now its costing me a bomb but hey I love decoying crows
  17. Nice one mate, Ive been taking pictures like that for the last few weeks on my grandad mobile, Im not into mobiles and I dont know how to upload the pics as I dont have a cable to connect it to the laptop. But my pics are just like yours anyway, I did 38 crows thursdayy but the memory on my old mobile is full so I didnt even get me a picture, I must upgrade soon.
  18. I would have split him in half with a 32gram clear pigeon.
  19. I did go and speak to them the morning I set up they said it was ok to go on as they were grass seeding another field near a quarry, then they arrived 1/2hour later to rake and roll the field I was set up on then they did the same the day after when I had told them I would come back tomorow lol. I doubt they come on here bud they dont even have mobile phones its like they are living in the 1940s. I asked for their house phone number and they said they didnt do phones, when they said they had a problem they were not kidding with the ferals, its a big farm with 40 yrd long cattle sh
  20. Its funny though as they are two of the weirdest farmers I ever come across they just dont speak unless you force em to. When I first drove up to the farm its an old stately manor house with the farm and a few cottages its steeped in history, but I knocked on the doors of the cottages first and the neighbours all said the same that thay were very odd. But the night I shot the ferals the brother told me he had just drilled two fields up the road and they were getting hammered with crows so I said I would go up the day after. So I goes up gets set out and they both appear both brothe
  21. Wednesday night I went to a new permission I have as the farmer said he had a well established flock of ferals in and around his farm buildings, so I charged the gun and gave it a bash, pocket full of magazines and I was in the landrover on my way. When I arrived the yard looked deserted but for the ferals I crept slowly through the yard with the gun loaded and my mono pod stick set high ready for a shot to present on one of the cattle shed roofs. Sure enough I turned a corner and there one stood on one of the roofs well within zeroed range at about 35yrds I was just about to pull the
  22. Its all been said already. But recently Ive put about 200 down and Ive been having problems with a new semi auto. Ive found out after swapping shells 3 times and shooting 500 shots to fine tune the gun that it had nothing to do with the cartridge or fit of the gun afterall. It was the choke, I swapped to 3/4 and a 32grm cartidge and never looked back I did 21 the day before yesterday and all were stone cold dead before they bounced off the the stubble right out to 45-50yrds. I suspect your first barrel is something like cylinder or 1/4, I tried the cylinder firstly in my semi a
  23. Have you had a caution at any point regarding anything unlawfull in the past?
