Hi, Is the rifle still for sale, if so could you send me a couple of photos? Cheers Graeme

Hi Kerm(?), Define "way up north"? I will probably be going up to Scotland (Glasgow area) in August sometime to see my folks, so if for some unknown reason the rifle does not sell down here I could always bring it with me and we could meet up. Just a thought. Cheers Graeme

Weihrauch HW100 .22 full Setup for sale - COMPLETE SETUP NOW SOLD 15/08/2011 I have for sale a Weihrauch HW100 .22 (Sports stock) full setup. The gun has a Hawke Sports HD 3-9x50 scope, Weihrauch silencer, two 14 shot magazines and comes with a the owner's manual, a nice padded gun slip (Made by - Ridgeline of New Zealand) plus a DRAGER 9 Litre 200BAR air bottle (just refilled about 2/3 weeks ago). I think the bottle's certification expires in 2014. This is a pre "anti-tamper" model HW100. Also it is NOT the quick-fill adapter type, you need to unscrew the rifle's air cylinder and det

Ihave an HW100 sports stock .22 setup for sale. I am an airgunning beginner andbought this setup about three weeks ago. Since I want to learn how to shootproperly I went along to a local field target airgun club. Having chatted atlength with the guys there, I formed the opinion that it might be better for meto use a .177 so I have decided to sell this .22 HW100. As mentioned the gun isa sports stock .22 model and it looks brand new. The guy I got it from said hehad bought it new about two and a half years ago and that it had less than 100pellets through it, the condition of the rifle certainly

Guys, I am new to what I would term modern airgunning with its huge variety of very capable airguns, in fact I have never had an air rifle with a decent (not micky mouse) scope on it. I have occasionally come across references to LEUPOLD scopes. These scopes seem to be prettyy pricey, say compared to a similar spec Hawke scope for example. Are they really so good that paying four or five times the price of Hawke scope is worthwhile? Thanks in advance Graeme

Hi Folks, I have stripped down my old Anschutz 335 (1972 Model) .177 and now want to reassemble it with its new BSA spring. Do I need specialist "Gun ONLY!!" lubricants or can I use the sort of stuff I have on my workbench at home in my garage - Sewing machine oil, copper grease (anti sieze), automotive HMP grease, WD40 etc. etc. The leather washer on the piston as far as I can tell is in really good shape, it is not stiff or cracked but is still soft and pliable, despite not being used for about 30 years. Is there anything should be put on this sealing washer to moisten/lubricate it to ke

Thanks Matt, Sean, Like I implied, you are dealing with a dummy here - ME! Honest, I believe you. My knowledge of Physics is extremely limited, so simple concepts whizz right over my head but how come a hand stirrup pump can achieve the same as a diving bottle but a compressor cant compete with a hand pump? If I was going to blow up my car or motorbike tyres I know what I would choose between a hand pump and a compressor. Let me ask another dumb question - How do dive bottles get charged? I thought that was done by compressors? - Nuclear powered compressors? Just Kidding. Cheers Gr

Hi Guys, I'll start with the excuses. - Please bear in mind that I am a complete rookie at airgunning and know nothing about PCP rifles. So please be generous and excuse what might be the complete stupidity of this question. - I see PCP rifles for sale in the forum and elsewhere that mention divers bottles and hand/stirrup pumps to recharge the gun's air cylinder. Would it not be possible to use a small air compressor to do the same thing? I am not talking about one of those cheap nasty things that are plugged into the cigarrette lighter, supposedly to blow your tyres up, but a proper litt

Hi, Since you didn't answer the questions I asked in this "for sale" forum on 8th May, or the subsequent PM I sent you on 9th May asking the same questions, would I be correct in assuming that you have sold the gun? If you have not sold it, I would be grateful if you would answer those previous questions and also let me know how old the gun is and the model ( HW100 Mark1? 2? ??). Thanks Graeme (DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME Graeme THAT WANTED TO BUY ONLY THE BOTTLE)

Hi, I assume the Scope is included, what is it? Do you have a better clearer picture of the end of the barrel at the silencer, is this the " .some wear" you mentioned in your description, what caused it? Thanks Graeme (NOT the same one who was interested in the bottle!!)

Hi All, I am looking for a tunnel foresight for my Anschutz 335 .177 that I intend to restore. I took the original sight off about 30 years ago to fit a telescopic sight and have no idea where that foresight is now. The .177 barrel has dovetail grooves on the front like an 11mm Scope rail but they are only about 7mm wide. I did buy a second hand Anschutz tunnel foresight recently but it was too wide (8.5mm) for the grooves on my 335 and seemed too tall as well, maybe it is for a .22 or a target shooting Anschutz. If anyone has a second hand foresight they are willing to sell, then please let m

Hi Guys, I am hoping for some advice from all you knowledgeable guys out there about refurbishing a springer rifle. I only joined the forum recently and I am effectively a complete rookie, I have only ever had a couple of springer air rifles that I used for plinking. I still have those rifles and I want to refurbish them, with a view to becoming a more competent shot and eventually if I am satisfied I am accurate enough (hopefully!) being able to hunt Rabbits and keep down pests with them. The rifles are (1) BSA Superstar in .22 - I bought this rifle about 20 years ago for my son , not used

Hi, Is The gun sold, if not, then what is your asking price? Thanks,

Hi Guys, I joined The Hunting Life forums a couple of weeks ago, I am primarily interested in Air Rifles and I am looking forward to learning more about airgunning. The only airgun I have right now is an elderly .22 BSA Super Sport (I think) which is a spring gun, I have had this for about twenty years though I have not used it for ages. I would like to take up Rabbit hunting and anything that will get me outdoors. I do intend to get a more up to date more powerful air rifle. Though I am from Glasgow I am based just outside Ashford in Kent. Cheers Graeme
