    I was at the docks today doing my routine checks, when I was told of a rat infested bank so he said, I never believed him and told him so. Next thing he gets his mobile out shows me a video he took of this place, well it was daytime and in a mound on waste ground at the docks. The rats were in and out the holes and quite a few , so I says. * I' m down here Monday nite so I'll go shoot it * So finished my work and thought I'll have a drive over , see what I can see there . I parked up and watched, nothing for 10 mins then. This WHOPPER of a rat came out ran to the other tump picked

    David. I need a 22. , 177 sometimes over penetrate . As I will be shooting a lot around clad ded huge sheds I can't cause any damage to the protective cladding

    I was thinking along the same lines Mr Mole , but once you scope it up then put an add on NV and sling it adds up the weight . Don't get me wrong I have had this rapid a long time. Just thinking with my back problems getting worse, adding a new lighter modern rifle can ease up my back problems the next day. What is a CS500 ?

    Thanks for ALL the feedback :-) As its for rat nite shooting and Feral pigeons I have to watch out for over penetration into the cladding of the building. Its gonna be a 22 and I might go for the Ultra synthetic stock version as its a working rifle. Shame no one does a try before you buy to see which rifle suits the best. Which pellet is most suitable in the Ultra 22 ? I always use accupel in my rapid. Cheers BRY

    Hi I have had a rapid 7 now for 19+ . Great rifle but with getting older and back problems I need a lighter smaller carbine type rifle. ( Mainly for rats and feral pigeons ) 1 Bsa Ultra SE synthetic multi shot 22 ? 2 Brocock Contour super 6 multi shot 22 ? Any other candidates to add to the above ? Not selling the rapid, other thing I know is the above are low on shot count per fill. And Brocock has no Safety . Looking for advice from people who have these rifles or have used them . Any info much App Cheers Bry

    I had a guy out with me for a week,teaching him mole trapping. On the last day Friday we set 27 traps in a field near the road,( I have trapped this farm for years ) Went back on my on Sunday ALL the traps from that field gone even my markers. I reckon it was this guy I had out with me, never let him near me again. On the golf course I loose a few , found a different way of marking them now

    Ouch Socks I bet that hurt, lucky you weren't blinded . I treated a hornets nest 2weeks ago ( first nest for as many years ) boy as you said they were at me in no time, Don't they get loud too forgot how big they are compared to wasps. I had a crowd of young golfers watching me throu the patio window as well filming me on their phones hoping I'd get stung lol. hope the eye heals quick mate

    If I missed it, I would say so I do miss working with some good people, and going around some fairly special places.... but do I miss actually complying with all the ridiculous rules and regulations and mountains of paperwork?
