  3. Anyone know what type of ground i would find Wild Fennel plants ? Please
  4. Geoff that's very impressive mate do you have window blackouts with them screens in the 4x4 ? Great if you have lots of ground you can drive around, i bet that set up makes it much easier and saves a lot of time driving searching too .
  5. The mole gets foul caught and it doesn't grip the mole, the mole moves back a shade into the run and dies of shock. That s my take of it. ???????????????????
  6. I use a paperboys bag when walking, if on quad i got a crate on the back. Sometimes use the 4x4 so crates in the back of there then transfer to paper bag/sack
  7. Maybe by just placing 1 trap in the MAIN outgoing run you will catch the mole, sometimes its obvious where mr mole is coming out from. But mr mole could and do use 2 runs in and out from his nesting area, and don't use the same run to go out and other to come in, so back to back traps are needed. i can see where Logun is coming from
  8. Russ Gen2+ would cost you double the pulsar (new) Gen3 would be treble - 5 times (depending on tube ) If you are out 3-5 nights a week and using the higher spec tube nv's then i'd say save up for one. There are so many nv scopes to choose from if you have the money Different people have different budgets and circumstances. For the money the Pulsar N550 can't be beaten, and with the right IR it will be capable of a lot of peoples night time capability. As i told you on the night, only thing that lets it down for longer range shots is the 4.5 mag

    gwp

I lost my GWP last year to cancer, she was 13 going strong till then. Also i got her for working with my Harris Hawk. She would also work with the gun/ferrets/lurchers. to me she was a all rounder. Retrieve point and work the heavy bush if there was anything in there. They aren't like spaniels who will work bushes and and cover just for the sake of it, GWP aren't that stupid all that unnecessary hard bush work ( they will go in when they are sure there's scent in that bramble/ whatever) She also was used for beating on our shoot, alot said oh they are only good on the moors ranging
