  1. I used to use it for the ferrets, they loved it.I gave the beddys it now and again, but being a retired butcher they got fed on all sorts of meat. The reason I say it's got to be used straight away is,I had to clean the band saw every night and I tell you in the summer months it's not a pleasant smell[[stinks]]. hope this helps.
  2. + 1 another way I've heard is drill a hole, and push lambs wool in the hole, sounds odd I know, could be true. a t b .
  3. youve got to make sure its either used the same day or frozen the same day. With it been put though the band saw I think somehow it heats it up.because it go's off very quickly especially in the hot weather a t b .
  4. I know I've said this before on another post, but If your buying purse nets dont go for the cheap and nasty 4z or 6z nylon one's unless your plann ing to ferret on a snooker table. [[nearly put me off ferreting]]. Theres plenty of chaps on this site that will sort you out.

  15. Hi there,I was just wondering how you guy's go on about getting all the guns on your shoot to do the work days. We run a small do it yourself shoot, there's about eighteen members, full and half guns. The trouble we have is only a handfull of members come through out the year,to do the maintenance etc six or so every week all year round. The same one's all the time, while the rest, we wont see them from the last day in jan to the first day in oct.[[unless they're forced too]].The same absenties just dont seem to be interested at all. All they want to do is shoot. They're not even interested
