Guys got a wildcat moderator for my tikka a couple of weeks back, but didnt have the rifle with me at the time. So the dealer asked me to ring through my barrel outer diameter so they could cut the right diameter collar to fit... This is done and now have the collar fitted. My question is: My barrel outer diameter is 17.5mm (measured with a vernier at the correct point) and the collar has come with a 21mm bore, leaving a big gap, is this correct? I thought the idea was it fitted snuggley inorder to help take the flex out of all that weight hanging off the end of your barrelan

Guys, As per title. Can I please ask your advice... Pick up my M595 on tuesday and would like to find a starting point to experiment with ammo and save some money on tricks already tried! will mainly be for deer, Roe in particular, with the odd fox. The stipulation is that it must be 100grn heads or more to conform to both England and Scottish deer laws. So please post the manufactures and types found to hold the best attributes for your Tikka M595'. did a quick search but couldn't see this posted before, but appologies if it has... Chris

hi guys after a little advice please. apologies if this has been discussed before (did a quick search and couldn't see anything)... as with the title, have a HW100, and love it (if a little heavy), but over the last couple of months after charging to 200bar off a dive cylinder on a friday night before heading up to the girlfriends farm, come saturday morning with out firing a shot the pressure is down to 150bar. And by Sunday evening if left will be stone empty! initially after charging and replacing the dust plug, then left for 24 hours the pressure would drop. upon removing th

BRITISH ARMY GORE TEX PRO BOOTS
west country warrior replied to kanigra's topic in Hunting Boots & Clothing
yeah leak over the top (which your always going to get unless you and your boots are 30ft tall..lol), but then because the goretex is wet from the inside i find they just don't dry out to my liking, especially when i've got to live in them for prolonged periods of time with no means other than body heat to dry them out.. but if you want to make use of them, then fill yer boots (pardon the pun, couldn't resist at this late hour!) they are currently in my sisters loft in someset, on the dorset border, so pick up might be a good option? (shes home on maternity at the mo to) just check
