  1. I could of had the big dog there and he would of more than likely killed it. I'll catch up with her somewhere down the line, it was local to me so I'm not too arsed about killing everything as there isn't a great lot about.
  2. What you got in bakerboy? Pm if you prefer
  3. Any of you lads still got the borders?
  4. I was up and out this morning having a bit rake about in some local spots with the old dog and the youngster. The old lakey let's you know if anything is home, dropped him in a 2 holer and sat back. After a bit baying and bumping and banging out came charlie. Off she went for another day, back in the house for 08:45.
  5. Jeff fenaroli is always well spoken of, especially when it comes to borders.
  6. I've held her back a bit tbh, she's seen a bit but I'm in no rush with her.
  7. You won't be disappointed with a pure GWP. They will cover the ground and still catch and kill the odd one they bump up.
  8. Not on Sunday he wasn't. But you're right he never let's up he's in where them hounds are going.
  9. Cheers shaaark The dark brindle dog has served me well. The light brindle bitch hasn't been tested yet.
  10. Cracking day out with a foot pack yesterday pushing forestry blocks out. 17 reynards accounted some ground covered and the hounds worked excellent.
  11. Border x lakey her sire is a border dam a lakey both very honest digging dogs. We'll see what she makes
  12. Foresterj you got any pics of your bitch from that litter?
  13. I have 3 bull x, but I'm in the market for a pup the same way bred as the pictured. My uncle kept the same stuff for 30 years but as times change he veered away from the running dogs towards deer stalking etc. The fawn bitch (lay down) she was a father/daughter mating all of that litter were real good dogs. The cross has been great for me over the years.
  14. Not bad mate, just pop on now and again.
  15. A few deerhound greyhound collie greyhounds I've had over the years. All very capable catch dogs, the big dog in the top pic would take teeth no problem and work round the hole all day long. A litter should of been had from him but I couldn't find a suitable bitch. I lost the sandy bitch in the field before I got the chance to take a litter from her. Years of breeding in them which was lost through one thing or another.
  16. A few recent ones, 5 weeks old Saturday coming. I get great satisfaction from rearing a litter. Great to see them progress
  17. Couple of them a week or so a go. Coming on now
  18. Some blood from ward etc in these. I'm from near consett, like said above mousey etc have always kept tidy looking terriers but they have all put a shift in too.
  19. Did you get sorted?
