I know a lad with a wheaton greyhound. Probably the best dog I have seen work tbhas on all quarry. A real big strong dog, good head on him, good coat etc. What an animal. Never seen a dog like it on the bigger deer.
Upland's lurcher and long dog show this weekend Sunday 16th. All lurcher and terrier classession. Also ALL ENGLAND BULL X CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL. PONTOP PIKE FIELD, HARELAW DH9 9AS
this is my gwp he is a cracking dog on fox, he has no bother catching them in the cover and very rough ground. Hopefully he will be going over a greyhound bitch.
Seen pointer greyhounds work, very game hard dogs. I have a gwp and what a fox dispatch dog he is. I can only imagine the cross your talking about will be a tool but a touch on the heavy side
Been kenneld together since pups. Never had any bother with any of my running dògs fighting, I exercise them as a pack etc if there was a trouble maker among them I wouldnt keep it. Same goes for tansporting dogs together
I keep al my terriers doubled up. 2 bitches together 2 dogs together no probs. I keep 2 bull x dogs penned together as well. Like said above "know your dogs".
My pointer is not hard mouthed at all neither are his father or mother on feather. But when they get hold of fur (fox) its like they are different dogs.
Shes off ray from plymouths stuff. (Ray walker/ levi) breeding is kept really close hopefully my good dog will go over her in a few yr if she makes it and he's still alive.
Shes came from the best of the working stuff thats left, if she makes it I will have a team of 3 working borders. A proper working border is up there with the best of earth dogs out there .
Had a 8 hour round trip yesterday to pick th new bitch up, nice to meet a genuine man who isnt in the game for the money. The breeding is right in this bitch so hopefully she makes half the dog the mother and father are. Now time to get her amongst the rats to bring her on.
Can anyone point me in the direction of Ray walker? Or someone with a very similar line? Im wanting a bitch to put my dog over in the future if the bitch makes the grade.
This dog is available for stud, deerhound greyhound collie greyhound. 8 yr old and a very handy dog. 27"tts. Not interested in stud fee just want back pup back from him if the bitch was right.
I had this conversation the other day, imo the line no longer exists. If you want a good all round catch dog I would be getting a deerhound greyhound collie greyhound.
Both single handed. I said "he's just as GAME" He gets the job done just not as fast as the bull x. What do you think was used before bull x came on the seen. Mainly deerhound x etc
