well It seems you haven't answered my question yet which is a shame as if it is the MA club providing everything then people would perhaps understand better why it's so expensive to enter a class. Dukie, Not ducking the question as you may have guessed I was away last week. Dare I say it - a minor invasion of Just Huntin's country! This year the MA Terrier Club costs will include : Travel, some judges expenses & gifts, accommodation; class trophies; rosettes, insurance and a donation to a charity of my choice ( previously their own choice). In addition they have -

Fionn, I would be disappointed if I didn't hear from you! I really do hope we get a chance to meet some time. I am not involved in terrier & lurchers myself and rarely have a free Saturday to look at other sports - hence I do not go to terrier & lurcher shows anywhere. If I do have a free Saturday this year I am going to run my bitch in gundog tests and I do hope to take in Mourne as it is near to me. If you are running a show it is unlikely that I would get to it unless I was in the south - I do go down every month so I might hit lucky. BUT I have never refused any or -

Dukie, That is the decision of those show organisers but what we have CONCENTRATED ON and will continue to do so is to give the terrier & lurchers their proper place amongst the other competitions with now equivalent or better competition prize structure while at the same time offering them a two shows for the price of one concession for Ballywalter and Shanes Castle. £10 for two events - can anyone tell me what game or country fairs offer terrier & lurcher owners ACTUALLY ENTERING the Fairs better admission rates? For Shanes and Birr we also offer Terrier & Lurcher owne -

i think what happens alot is when two lads have a dog and bitch out of the same yard and think by putting them together they are keeping the line going while the yard owner would of never mated them . thats why i think proven stud dogs are as important to working terriers as lines are .thats my thinking anyway
