  1. Hi all, Have been offered an ex racing greyhound dog, he is only 3 and excellent temperament, if i got him he would be used for rabbit, somebody told me that greyhounds cannot turn very well so dont do the job well, is this true? if not are ex-racing good for work? thanks guys sam
  2. that is what you need a nice big padlock for my friend, plus where i live is very safe anyway, i think if its safe, out, if not dont risk it
  3. i prefer out, i have all the animals outside, my ferrets are caged in my dogs out-building, i think it makes for a good relationship and the dog doesnt get giddy when she sees the ferrets
  4. cheers pal tbh its fine to say it from the outside bt its different in the situation, no vets were open so i just did what i thought wat was best. and i can tell you there will be more
  5. cheers pal therell b sum way i can get down, pm me and ill give you my details
  6. stayed up most of the night with the little nipper, went in this morning and found him cold, thanks for all your help lads your all a credit to the sport
  7. hes got a reli swolen lump low down on his underside is that a sign of anything?
  8. this is defo the end for him, i think its time to say bye to an excellent ferret, an excellent companion for both me, my dog and my other ferrets, and en excellent worker. i spose its just fate but it upsets me that hes got to go in such a painful way for such a gentle ferret :/
  9. ok hes in the ferret box, hes bit into the side of the box and will not let go, hes really out of breath and is wheezing, any suggestgions?
  10. rang the vets now and she just said that ferrets dont get ear mites and that the ferret doesnt sound very good, i was hoping for a diagnosis, would i be well to clean the ears and see if theres an improvement in the morning
  11. no not at all, ive got some ear drops that treat mites, is there anyway that if it is mites i can treat it with this?
  12. yeh this is quite a recently aqquired ferret so i havent maintained it, but yes there are, so is there anything i can do about it?
  13. its just a sort of normal dirt i can see down his ears
  14. he does have abit of stuff down his ears but surely this isnt enough to affect his balance, hes breathing quite deep and hes trying to move he can move his head slightly and legs but cant stand
  15. cheers lads im really thankful for all your support, ill keep checkin on him tonight and ill post on again in the morning. once again thanks for your support, and shreder, you are a fuck1n arse wipe
