  4. It is not homemade John - they were an early production trap OTC
  5. Dogotter, I think you'll join the end of a long queue of unhappy customers of his - the traps that I have seen and handled of his are cheaply imported copies and not genuine Brit made and approved ones. I have no reason to believe that his fox wires would be better made either OTC

  10. A hungry vixen will easily climb a 9 foot fence if she needs to Aaron - and then SLAUGHTER everything inside, and I mean everything. I have seen such a fox kill over 400 pheasants in one night. Explain that to your boss if you're a 'keeper and see what he says about not snaring foxes. Maybe you would have plenty of time to consider the whole episode while you were looking for another job the next day . . . OTC
  11. Is it legal to use them for shooting vermin or pests?? OTC

  13. 12 foot lb for a rifle but 6 foot lb for a pistol I thought?? Does anyone know for certain?? OTC
  14. I might be way off the mark here, and have nothing to back it up but . . . I always thought that it was illegal to shoot animals or birds with an air pistol which had to be less than 6 ft/lbs muzzle velocity to be legal??? Can anyone shed any light on this?? OTC
  15. PM Holdaway, Woodga or Geordie. I am sure one of them will be able to help you out with wires and tealers OTC
  16. Polecats are now recorded officially across most of the British counties. Does this mean that rabbit trapping would be 'illegal' just in case a polecat happened to frequent the area?? OTC
  17. A very good question indeed Sid . . . Any approved trap legally set in a rabbit hole for rabbits would just as easily catch polecats if they passed over the set trap. Any efforts made to reduce the access to prevent it will also prevent rabbits being caught. I don't know if there actually is an answer. OTC
  18. I am missing your message Topman - please resend OTC
