The panels look like industrial flooring plate, never seen them used like that, but what a good idea, you wouldn't clip those open with bolt cutters.

Thanks very much for that lads, appreciate it.

I'm toying with having a go at the cooking oil thing, but I'm a bit unsure of the ins and outs, so if there's anyone clued up who could throw a bit of light on the subject I'd appreciate it. As I've got access to a regular supply of clean used cooking I thought what I'd do is filter it and mix it 50/50 with diesel and just bang it in the motor. It's going in a MK4 (I think) 1.7 Astra Diesel, 51 reg. Is there any problems with that engine coping with it. Oh and I have every intention of getting the relevant paperwork from the village Post Office and declaring it for VAT purposes as I'd

A bit of a longshot I know, but I'm looking to buy some decent hardwood for a project at home and can't find anyone near me. I'm looking for something along the lines of White Oak, Light Oak, Cherry, Ash, Maple, Beech etc. I don't want anything darkish. So if anyone knows of anywhere that supplies it I'd really appreciate any help, I'd prefer it in West Yorkshire, but I don't mind travelling further afield and if it's mail order, then anywhere will do. Thanks in advance Wilky

For all those who showed their tattoos on the recent thread, get a look at this. If you can't view it, get on youtube and type in tattoos.
-
Too many folk I know that have been down that road go out on bender after bender and get covered in tats. Don't waste your time and money mate. Get yoursel' out on the land mate dogs, dogs, dogs - you couldn't have timed it better, if you haven't been giving it some hammer due to the split, well get out and do it now. Best of luck to you.

From a chemical engineering point of view, it's a direct calculation of static head, static head being the equivalent of 1Psig (as opposed to Psia) per every 1 1/2 foot of static head. The width dimensions of the vessel are irrelevant and the weight of the liquid is also irrelevant, just the height dimension at atmospheric pressure and the specific gravity of the liquid in the vessel (which could be construed as being negligable). It's more to do with volumetrics than mass transfer, lts x sg = kg etc. etc. Therefore 10mts = 32'6" divided by 1 1/2 ft = 21.73 Psig Anyway it's back to la

Died doing what he enjoyed doing, living the life he loved and he's left plenty behind to remembered for, how many others can say that.

Best advert - The John West salmon ad with the Grizzly Bear that does the Ali shuffle :11: Worst advert - Any of those that give you the impression you can have all the money you want for f**k all, especially those with Carol Vorderman

I don't blame you one little bit mate, but I had to ask as for models, on the ID plate mine says Hobart E4522 and I've been offered 300 quid for it umpteen times, so if you do part with it, don't take less than that, unless you sell it to me of course. :11:
-
I'll start then mate,if you don't use it, how much will you take for it?
-
No your not mate, mine get plenty of bones as well, I just mince it so I can freeze it easier and control the amounts the dogs get a bit easier, if I didn't have the mincer I would just give the dogs the whole carcasses as well, they always get carcasses on the day we pick the meat up anyway. It's just a case of whatever suits your personal situation I guess.
-
I got mine from a mate who ran a small butchers shop that shut down, so I suppose you could ask at Tesco's because they're the c**ts that are closing down all the small village shops. I'll tell you where I saw two recently for sale at Andy Thorntons reclamation yard, he has a web site, also you can get exactly the same machine as a coffee grinder, so if you could get one of those you could get the parts to swap the front end back to a mincer.
-
Oh my god, you shouldn't have said that ask Millet. Anyway I've always been a spawny git, look what I got off you for 150 quid, best money I've spent in ages, she's coming on like a trooper mate. THANKS
-
I like them, but I guess it's just whatever suits your needs, I bought this for 150 quid. And it goes through these like childs play. It absolutely anihillates rabbit and chicken carcasses and I store it plastic tubs that hold 1 1/2 lbs, 100 for 9 quid, which means it takes up a lot less room in the freezer than carcasses and it's easier to regulate the quantity of food, but that's just what suits me, each to their own.

These work very well, easy enough to make, very fast slip. These work very well, easy enough to make, very fast slip.

Kev, the lad himself, for anybody that remembers, does a list of compilations as long as your arm at - Goldmine Soul Supply, he's based in Todmorden but I'm sure you could find him on the internet. If you struggle PM me and I'll let you have his number, I'm at work now, so I haven't got it here. Or if you really struggle I could get my lad to copy some of mine for you. Some of the compilations he does :- The Wigan Casino Story 1, 2 & 3 Out on the floor Stax Night Owl Friday Night in M's Or you can check Nick Rennies web site, theres a list of over 1000 songs, which you can

You could price them up at York Guns mate, I think they're about 350 new.
-
Absolutely priceless, I wonder if I could interest em at Mothercare.

I believe you can still get the 9" moderators from Saddlery and Gunrooms, and I know where there is one that may be for sale, but I've used it on the lads .410 and thought it was absolutely shite, hardly made any difference and the barrel seems to go on forever. There was a lad on here or smoochers making full length mods, try a search and see what you think of them, but my gun has paid for itself more than once, so I wouldn't let the price put you off.

I own one and it's a fantastic tool for the right jobs. I use Gamebore or Eley 2 1/2" No 6's through it most of the time and it's very quiet, mine is a Pedretti version but they are using Baikal now I believe. I paid 270 pounds for it new and it was a bargain as far as I am concerned, it's fantastic for various jobs at night and it's still capable of folding up if you need that sort of thing. It's also a good little daytime rabbiting gun, but because it's fully choked you need to be a reasonable shot. Hope that helps.

they end up coming loose after a while. And the last thing you want is it popping out when a dog is running a bunny straight at a dyke Stick a bit of gaffer tape round it, it keeps mine in place.

If I fancy anything from that part of my distant past I generally get it from Nick Rennie, he's got a good site as well, with a player attached, passes the time on nights, theres upwards of 1100 songs on it and you can choose any 30 for a fiver, right do. Solomon Burke, I once let him sit on my knee, my legs have been f****d ever since, but you're right, big man, big voice.
