    Longnet box

I've knocked up a long net box for my lad as a bit of a trial, the net in the box is a 25 yarder, the box is measured up to fit two 25 yarders with a ferret box on each end, to save having too many straps over your shoulder, obviously this is a MK1 jobby and just knocked up rough and ready like. It may change dramatically when it's had a field trial, but it weighs bugger all and feels OK, so here's hoping.
  2. I've a few more terrier boxes ready, I've PM'd the lads who they're for.
  3. No worries mate, I'm glad they'll do for you.
  4. Glad you're happy with them fella, pleasure to meet you.
  5. Some more boxes ready, PM's sent to all concerned, been a little longer than normal, but it's hard working on a beach in Spain.
  6. Twelve galavanised weld mesh sheets for sale. Each sheet measures 7'3" by 3'6" The mesh size is 3" square These are not your average cheap gauge sheets, the gauge of the rods is 5mm, extremely strong. Sheets are in West Yorkshire and are £10 a sheet. Shit photo I know, but it's just a phone.
  7. Steve doesn't live far from me, and I bought a black bitch from him for £100, when £100 was what you paid for a good dog, and the bitch I bought from him WAS a good dog, it did exactly what he said it could and I'd have a dozen dogs like that now, you just can't get em. Maybe he is a dog dealer and maybe he isn't, I don't know, but speak as you find, that's the only terrier I've had off him and he was as straight as a dye with me, twenty years ago mind and a lot of water under the bridge and all, but he did me no wrong.
  8. You find coxidiosis all over the place, it occurs where there are cattle as well. Normally just affects young rabbits and they grow out of it.

    death

i was only joking mate. but by the way you replied i would think you now a thing or two about death any one under your patio then I was only joking as well, but, if I really had to, then that's what it would be and working where I do, it's readily accessible.

I've got Alberts book(very interesting read)if you want to read it.I'll have it back when you kill yourself please.I would go for the hose pipe to the car exhaust, painless, and, once it's started that's it.Most people that really want to do it,do it like that. Only because they haven't got access to a Nitrogen supply, why the f**k would anyone want to choke to death on smelly Carbon Monoxide, when you could do it ten times as quick and with no unpleasant odour and once the Nitrogens started, there's no chance of opening the car door and walking away, but you're right in one aspect for

Have a read of Albert Pierpoints book if you can get hold of a copy, that's full of information, it was originally banned under the banner of being a DIY guide to suicide, that should help you out. But if it was me personally wanting to do it, it would definately have to be Nitrogen, painless, very quick, no blood or guts, just a nice kip and away you go.
  12. Coxidiosis, it affects young rabbits, but they get over it, throw the liver away, but the rabbit flesh is OK.
  13. For letting lads have sensible gear at a sensible price, instead of being a rip off merchant like the vets, he should have got a medal.
  14. Cheers mate, I never knew you could do that AND it bloody says it on the black line.
  15. Some terrier boxes ready for the lads that ordered them, I've PM'd who they're for. Can someone who is clued up on the photography thing, explain to me why the galvanised bars look twisted when I upload the pic, but they're as clear as crystal on my desktop? it's a bit annoying.
  16. I sold mine for £100 and was well made up, because I thought I'd been robbed at the £50 I paid for it, personally I think it's no more than a nice collection of photo's, the books well worth a look, but nothing over special, I'm sure John put a lot of effort into producing it, but I don't think it's worth the £200 that it's been fetching lately, just my opinion mind, I'm sure most folk are happy with it, whatever floats your boat and all. Edited to add, the lad that bought it is on here, and he's sold it as well.
  17. A very rare opportunity to purchase a very rare piece of working terrier history, unfortunately for me, I'm going to part with my copy of the "F&MWTC Club History 1966 - 1988" Only 200 of these books were ever printed, and at the time I bought two, I sold one a couple of years ago and now I'm parting with this one, providing I get a sensible offer. The book is in absolutely pristine condition, no wear ar tears anywhere, the pages are as white as the day it came off the press, no yellowing whatsoever. As stated above, I already sold one of these and know realistically what it's
  18. Some more boxes ready, I've PM'd the lads that have ordered these.
  19. I'm looking for a spare handle for a lightforce lamp, just the handle, not bothered about wiring being intact and don't need a lens, so if anyone has a knackered lightforce lamp that they no longer require, I'd give a bit of something for it.
  20. The first lot of two piece shovels are ready, I've PM'd the lads that ordered them.
  21. You can buy the lamps from Decoying.co.uk at the top of the page AND you'll get a 10% discount for being a member on here. And I've had no bother with lightforce, so if you don't want your knackered ones, send them to me I'll give them a good home and a coat of looking at, I could use a spare.
  22. You can get the full range of covers from 4x4x4.com, but the hard ones are expensive, 800 quid for a mountain top, 1100 quid for a sliding hard cover. As for the mpg, I wouldn't worry about that, the L200's have automatic indicators, they come on every time you drive past a petrol station
  23. I remember watching Fools and Horses and couldn't get my head around why they called a watch "kettle" and I had it explained to me that it dates back to the days of "Fob watches"................Kettle and hob = Fob
