  1. fast but dim, is that nutters new log in?
  2. If they are done right they are just as strong jointed as they were before they were split, I've given mine some hammer and not bent one yet, if Ican sort out the picture posting I'll put some up, but I"m struggling with hunt101 and photobucket, I'll try that one that IanB put up, but it's probably me and technology that are f**king divorced.
  3. i dont know about the spitroasting  but if sentenced for not paying the fine it would definately be sqaushed as only compansation is still to pay after a sentence <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not necessarily, I know of one exception to that, if you get sent down for VAT dodging, that's still to pay when you come out, so maybe like the badger laws they are making these up as they go along tha b****rds.
  4. There's an old couple, both 85 years of age and they've been married since they were 20, and the old lass sets off into the village to do a bit of shopping, so the old fella thinks "I'll do something to surprise her, something I've never done before" so he sets about making the bed and he's off upstairs with the linen and when he's tucking in the sheets he sees a cardboard box under the bed and pulls it out. Inside the box there's an egg carton with three eggs in it and 50 thousand pounds in cash, the old blokes a bit puzzled so he puts it back and waits for his wife. So his wife gets home fr

    pigeons

A blacksmith up the road from me keeps them and it tickles me watching them fall from the sky, but what's the difference between rollers and tumblers? or is it just the same thing.
  6. I do vertually the same as sindasox, except there is no welding and the joint is tighter and smoother, no offence intended because your shovel looks fine. I'm at work on nights all weekend so I'll put some pictures on later, but basically you need two 3/4" BSP brass sockets and a 3/4" BSP double ended male gas pipe joint, the shovels I've used are Bulldog steel shafted and it's as simple as this. 1 - Cut the shovel in half 2 - Take one of the brass sockets and hammer it into the handle end of the shovel, using a piece of timber so you don't damage the thread, it really is a tight fit and
  7. Cooper, you don't have to do any welding it's easy, but I'm shite with computers so thanks for the help I'll give it a spin.
  8. Just recently I've made my shovels split into two pieces so I can put them in a rucksack out of sight. They screw back together just as strong as before, if anyone is interested and anyone is prepared to give me a basic ABC of how to post a photo I will put some pictures up of how it's been done. The bits to do the job cost me three quid and it only takes half an hour and it keeps them out of sight of nosey c**ts.
  9. For anyone that likes a laugh at stupid videos and images etc, type bore me into your search engine and look for - bore me the best of your inbox - it's full of stupid bollocks, but it's funny. In the search box type in environment and read the letter about dams, it's not just our government that are cats knackers.

    LEAKING KENNELS

The pond liner won't rip if you get the right stuff, I get mine from Bradshaws in York, they do mail order and it's definately cheaper than corrugated sheets. As for Jeyes fluid you can get it at most equine shops, but it has to be perfectly dry before you put the dogs back in. And just on the off chance, if your kennels are timber and you ever have a problem with fleas etc. Duramitex is excellent for spraying the timberwork, it's supposed to be for pigeon lofts, but most greyhound breeders/racers use it with no ill effects, I know a well known greyhound breeder who dips his dogs in a

    LEAKING KENNELS

Whether the floor is wooden or concrete or flags I have always given my kennels and my terrier boxes come to that, two good coats of concrete paint, this stops the lime from coming away from the concrete surface causing dust, it stops damp from coming through concrete and flags and it seals timber so you can hose everything down without causing water damage, I also paint two feet up the walls so the dogs slashing against it doesn't harm the timber, but I agree if the bed is raised off the floor and is damp, it's highly likely to be the roof or a leaking window case. As for the kennel roofs I
  12. I have a copy of the F&MWTC compilation 1966 - 1988 ish, I can't remember off the top of my head (I'm at work) and when you read the old rescues the further you go back, the more common it appears to be, obviously in days before the collar it was more prevalent, although I remember the days of no collars and we only ever used two terriers in extremely big rock piles, such as Farrars or the Big House, for anyone who can remember and never in an earth, unless we needed to use another dog for a mark, but some of the rescues in the old year books state two, three or four dogs in drains!!! now
  13. I agree with the Hydrogen Peroxide, a vet put me on to it, but I always take a bottle of saline eyewash solution out with me when out with the terriers so I can give them a good clean straight away when knocked up, I also take a bottle of iodine solution, the gold label type that you can get from any equestrian outlet, smarts a bit, but stops a lot of swelling and I've used it on myself too.
  14. I once dropped my mate off at home after work and went in for a brew, his wife was ready to part with their baby any day and his mother in law was there, who was a right posh get and she said to my mate "Are you ready for the big day?" and he goes "Yep" and she said "What would you like, boy or a girl" and my mate went " As long as it's white I dont really give a f**k" I nearly chocked on my tea and his mother in law nearly dropped a kid of her own.
  15. It's not all about depth with these new collars. I lost a good bitch last year in drain that only runs for twenty five yards under a private road, it's only a couple of foot but you can't dig it and in doing this drain for above twenty years we've never had to, it's an easy bolt. The bitch must have got into some kind of side chute or something and we never heard or saw her again, there is absolutely no way she could have come out, nets etc. and a man at either end, we tried the echo disc that makes the Deben collar read to 30 feet and found nothing anywhere in the surrounding area.
