I had one last year mate. Nice beam but the switch would stick and had to re wire it as the wire kept coming loose in the handle

Sometimes you have no option but to pay. Ok not those kind of prices but it is really difficult to find someone who is willing to teach you the ropes. Many people say they will but when it comes down to it you never get that phone call. I've put up requests on this site myself asking but not had any response. I ain't got much money but Id gladly give someone a slab of beer for their help.

Thanks for the replies. Spoke to them on the phone today and they told me that they make them themselves so don't know. What length of beam could I expect from one? Are they a better. Lamp than a clulite?

Just wondering if this has happens to someone else. This last week my whippet seems to be really quiet, we go out for about an hour an a half every night and he runs about following my springer everywhere, but this week there has been no go in him, just walks by my side most of the way. He's not In any pain or doesn't seem to be carrying any injury and is eating and drinking as normal.is it possible that dogs can just have off days just like us?

some great pictures of the dogs, they look absolutely stunning. is there a better looking dog than a fit well looked after running dog? I bought myself a new camera about a month ago and have been trying to take some pictures of my dogs and take some action shots. have had a few ok pictures but most of them are crap. any tips of how I can take some decent photos? didnt realise cameras had so many options and were so complicated!!

The reason I ask is that during the summer and winter I take the dogs to a local beach which is some 8 miles long but being part of the estuary a lot of debris like tree trunks wash up and I was just wondering during the dark can they actually see them or is there a big risk that they would run straight into them?

Just wondering how much can dogs actually see during the dark without a lamp? Do they have night vision similar to a cat or do they see as little as we do?

I have been cleaning it with savlon disinfectant but is it best to use salt water? Thanks again all for your advice:)

Came back from a walk last Friday and noticed that my whippet has a small puncture wound in the skin between his toe pad and the big pad on his foot which is no more than a couple of mm wide when opened. I have been cleaning it twice a day and it doesn't look as if there is any infection in it and does not seem to bother him. Have tried to superglue it together but will not stay on and just peels off. Is there anything else I could try to help it heel or is it best to pay a visit to the vet? Thanks for any advice given

So What is the recommended type of exercise to help muscle up a dog? Would running on sand or some type of resistance training be part of it?

Just after some advice . Whippet had to have 1 internal stitch and 5 external stitches on his hock 8 days ago after cutting himself on broken glass on the beach.he is having them out on thursday morning, just wondering how soon after having them out can I leave him off the lead for a good run as he is now bouncing of the Walls. Have been walkon him twice a day on the lead for about 2 hours in total but as I said he is desperate now for a good run. Thanks for your advice.
