Being relatively new to Air Rifles and after watching lots of the Grey Squirrel Pest Control videos on Youtube i thought i'd give it a go on one of my permissions as i'd noticed a few squirrels about the wooded sections of the farm. So i knocked up a few feeders, filled them with nuts and set them in place. A few days later i checked them to see if the squirrels had figured them out. One was completely empty and the other had a bit of activity about it. I stocked them up with the intention of coming up the next day for some action. Below is a video of some of the action. Thanks f

  9. Lol thanks Dave. I was trying to get as comfortable as possible and relax as i was in an awkward position. It's so unnatural when you've been used to looking directly through a scope but thanks for the comment.

  17. Mixedgill, I'd imagine that comment is said with tongue in cheek . I don't know Breandan too well but have spoke with him on a few occasions....he comes across as a genuine working dog person, a straight talker, calls a spade a spade and someone who knows a hell of a lot through experience and knowledge what he's talking about!!!!

  19. I was at a dog show a few weeks back and seen a few friends trying out a new slingshot which one of them made as some of the shows are now running slingshot competitions. I give it a few goes and ended buying one just for a bit of fun and craic. Over the past few weeks i decided to try and get a rabbit with it. To be honest it was difficult to take in when i hit one and it went over like it had been shot, stone dead. To date i've managed to get 5. With the Northern Ireland Game Fair to be held at Shanes Castle 28th and 29th June fast approaching below is a list of the Ferret Events which will take place on Sunday 29th beginning at 11:00am in the Countrysports In Action Arena. Please note the Ferret Showing and Racing will take place in the Countrysports In Action Arena and not at the Lurcher and Terrier showrings as i understand that last year some people brought ferrets along and missed the ferret events due to some confusion as to where they were being held.
