Folks i find it's easier to put up a video of a couple of hunts earlier on in the week than doing a write up. I've tried embedding it but i can't get it to work and to post pictures up you have to shrink them and reduce the size which I don't know how to do as i'm doing this from my mobile so I apologise for all those who can't open the YouTube link. I hope the moderators keep this post up as I'm a donator on THL and my last one was removed. Anyway for those who can open the YouTube link I hope you enjoy the footage. Happy hunting folks!! https://youtu.be/ckdYq6n4BPQ

Thanks, it's a Simmons Expedition....It came with the Air Rifle but I think I could do with a scope with Mil-dots as it's not as easy judging the hold over with shots 60-70 yards.

Not sure if that worked Rez

Coming to think of it Matt it was when I had a scope cam on trying to record some footage and I couldn't rest the butt of the rifle on my shoulder or it was breaking my neck to look at the screen and due to the angle I was shooting at the rifle was unsteady on the primos sticks. I hope this makes sense.
-
Ok guys please be patient with me as i'm new to the shooting so don't bite the head off me if I say some silly things here. I got myself a set of the primos sticks and found them difficult to shoot roosting pigeons as the air rifle had a tendency to come off the sticks if I was aiming at a step angle. To be honest I think i'd prefer to use a tree to support the rifle.

First Time Using A Camcorder Adapted To Suit Scope
Dazzam replied to Dazzam's topic in Hunting Video Clips
Thanks The One, a lot of the movement is due to me only watching the pigeon through the screen of the scope cam so I wasn't concentrating on being steady until I was ready to take the shot. Just before the pigeon turned I was about to squeeze the trigger and you can see this in the video as I begin to concentrate and line up the crosshairs but the pigeon turned. I've noticed with this particular scope cam that the cross hairs on the screen seem to jitter about a bit. Having said that I was shooting from an uncomfortable position. One of the downsides of a scope cam is you see all the shooters -

Ok, so on Monday afternoon I went up to one of my permissions to check the squirrel hoppers with the intention of taking them down. I had shot a few squirrels over them the past week and didn’t want to overdo it. After filling them up on Friday afternoon, I was surprised to find them completely empty with lots of damage done to the feeder by the squirrels looking for more peanuts. Being off work I decided to go up on Monday evening at dusk for a final shoot over them. I met the farmer who was doing some reconstruction work on his lane who asked me to start controlling the rabbits again soon as
