first thing I thought was dirty barrel but cleaned it out and had same result, everything is still tight and barrel free floating, its not every shot, i'll have 3 or 4 in a tidy group but then one hit about an inch higher or lower than the rest its strange like, its not just me as the same was happening with the gun in a fixed position -
I've been using hornady v-max bullets in my .17 and I was getting tidy grouping about an inch or so at 100 yards, I have had 2 boxes now that I can't get the group under 2" ? could it just be a dodgy batch? and what bullets does everyone else use?

still hard to get my head around the fact the duke bet his aya and my grandad only bet a bikal single barrel its just a good story about a true friendship where money had no influance not bothered about there difference in socioty i remember going to the pub as a kid with my grandfather in our landrover and the duke driving a beat up old series 3 so that he fitted in with everyone, they where both very good men both in the feild and at heart

bloody hell jammy sod my grandad was will never forget the story of how he came to own this gun. or what we where always told. there is a estate near us that has red deer and roe deer , my grandfather was frends with the duke and was the game keeper, there was a big red deer stag on the estate that there deer hounds could not catch was to clever for them would see them coming and would be gone no where to be seen, and they made a bet that the person who catches the deer gets the other mans gun, not with much to loose my grandfather accepted the bet and the only rule was the deer must nnot

my grandfather left me his aya no.1 when he passed away, was just wondering roughly how much she is worth, she is in great condition not a mark on her i have perrsonally only used her once, no real wear on the bores or mechanisms ect tells me she was only used a hand full of times, i have no intention of selling her but would be nice to know how much she is worth atb joe
