    Thanks for the replys guys. I work it with a Mark 3 locator and I'd say it's not that big for a hob ferret.

    These are pictures from last saturday when i went out with my ferret and whippet pup. Me and my dad (just to mkeep me right) went over the local wood. We did three sets first was on a hill and second was in some trees at the top of a quarry. The first set was a three or four holer and after about six or seven minutes the rabbit came slowly out. Picked up the ferret and it had clumps of fur on its claws. Second set was a three holer and the ferret just went straight through. Third set was at the bottom of the wood and was six holer and we got a rabbit out of that set... and

    Im just starting ferreting and looking for land to go ferreting on have own ferret, nets and locator... also have a small whippet pup (9 months) and a air rifle (SMK QB78). Just wondering if any one knows any where i could get permission... or if theres anyone i can tag a long with cheers , Lee (age 14)

    1 have 120 lumen hand held torch, cree led type ...very bright with an ajustable beam from spot to flood.. a good beam for up to 60 or so yards.. also use it with my airgun, it takes 3 aaa batteries and last about 4 hours solid on full power... and has a lower power and flashing mode... my dad has 2 head lamps with the q5 cree led as well what he uses for sea fishing.. got them off that auction site... from china.. torch £6 ..and Headlamps £5 cheers Lee

    i am from just south of durham and have my own ferret , nets and a locator... i also have a whippet pup that is just learning stuff as well.. he has had a couple of rabbits, so i am pleased with him thanks Lee
