Just got a reply from theoben. They still have the seals but want me to send the rifle to them for the work to be carried out. I'm guessing they'll probably charge me the earth for a 10 min job i can do myself. I have a brocock pump to re-gas the ram, just need to chrono it then.

My old theoben sirocco is very slowly losing pressure. I have stripped the gas ram out and the seals are worn. I thought it may be the fill valve first but have replaced it and it doesn't leak. I placed the ram in a bowl of water and when moving the piston back and fore u can see the air escaping. Has anyone got any idea where i could get a replacement seal?? I emailed theoben but awaiting reply.

Thanks Matt. I had assumed the mounts were 30mm and was about to order a scope. I Just checked and as you say they are 25mm.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. Another problem i may have is that the scope rail is welded on the gun and the mounts then have a screw down through the centre. I have 3-9x40 on there at the moment but the front of the scope is only about 5mm above the gun. Some of the scopes appear to have a larger diameter front and may not fit. Can i get higher mounts to fit this rifle??

I have dug out my Theoben sirocco classic carbine which has been sitting in the attic for 15 years after getting damaged!! I was loading it and it broke straight throught the stock. I managed to get a theoben stock off ebay and modified it to fit. I stripped the gas ram out and serviced it, also had to replace the valve in the back as it was knackered. There was a tasco 3-9x40 scope on it but after a few shots the cross-hairs fell away!!!! I bought a cheap bushnell 3-9x40 off ebay but after a few shots the adjusters have fallen apart!!!! Can someone recommend a good scope that isn't goin
