yeh mate they were retriueved by dog shes a little rough on them now but nothing wrong with them under there jackets

went out the other day for a plink around with nothing really in mind,i managed a magpie and 6 woodies but the woodies are pairing up now and i find them a little easy to pick off so im calling it a day on woody for the time being [not magpies ]

you wont go wrong with the rapid mate i own a mk2 that just keeps doing its job week in week out tough as old boots [mines been dropped scratched soaked ] and it just dusts itself down and does the buissiness for me

cant really think of any advantages to crossing gun dogs i currently own a cocker spaniel and a keeper has a sprocker both roughly same age [2years] his is the most hyper dog ive ever seen it barks whilst working game thru brambles etc so in my opinion [only] stick to the real deal

went to allotment this morning with the rapid in case i saw any more rats,any way its lashing down up here in north east and it hasnt taken long for me to get wet .after feeding my pigeons i was messing about in the green house when i heard a magpie squawking close by i looked thru the glass and it was taking twigs from the old nest at the top of my allotment [i killed that pair last year] its in a large sycamore tree .it flew off with a twig so i got ready for it reurning it landed at the very top of the tree so i leant against the greenhouse door and found it thru the scope i squeezed the t

try taking the dog out with a well trained dog and let yours watch how its done with the other dog being praised and given treats the penny might just drop .Never bollock the dog when it eventually comes back to you just bite your lip and put it on lead ignore the twat it probably will take time but if you keep at it it will cme good .most dogs have it in them its just more owners havent

i went to the allotment yesterday to feed my pigeons and spotted a long tail so went back home for gun and put a pile of corn down next to the loft i waited for what seemed like ages and finally it popped its head out between the fences that seperate the gardens i waited till it was clear of the fence and from 15 yds the cross was put in position i gently sqeezed the trigger and only its tail moved the bugger was well dead entry hole and exit hole can be seen

went out to a new bit of land the other day [via magpie mayhem] as the farmer has told a few of his friends about our foray on his land. any way my mate couldnt make it so i set off with the gun and dog[sounds like a pub name lol] after a brief chat with the land owner i was left to my own devices ,the land only cosisted of two fields and a small wood / shrubbery behind a few out buildings.i spotted a woody 30 yds away but couldnt get a clear shot so sneakedbehind the buildings and got to about 20yds with a nice clear shot i poked the gun thru a broken elder bush and placed the cross hairs

when my mates are out on a mooching day i tag along with my cocker spaniel bitch shes pushed plenty for the big dogs and never gets into any arguments over game killed

im surprised any one wants to shoot them as there numbers have fallen to alarming depths love them or hate them there part of our history just like sparrows its nice to have them around .i would hate them to go as low in numbers as song thrushes dunnocks etc

do whatever it takes to draw them out of the woods mate i know i and many others would it just boosts up your sport or you could put a sign up telling them not to venture on your permission!

rapid 7 mk2 is THE landrover ov pcp,s have had mine ten years plus still fires like new for craftmanship the logun mk2 is one hell of a rifle i own both these guns and both are really good for vermin control
