  3. interesting read on the 'bully kutta' breed.. welcome to the site there's hours of reading and learning to be taken from this forum.
  4. All the best in finding him a good home.. It seems a picture on here always grabs attention. It seems to me your looking for a pet home as much as a working home which i can understand.. have a bump on me and hope he finds an honest home!! NOT SOME PUPPY PEDDELLER OR SOMEONE WANTING A STUD!! Cheers...
  5. Thanks to the Good replies.. I'l take both into account. Personally all i hunt is rabbits never done anything else. Like i've said i'd like to see her cross with a whip/grey or colly/grey but its not only for myself, its to be what people will buy with proven working parents. Would you suggest a good lurcher mix maybe? Saluki? Keep them small for rabbiting? Any ideas welcome?
  6. I have a whippet cross greyhound 2.5 yr old will be 3 yr old before next season, she's first cross, will chase anything from a leaf in the garden to a fox (I do believe).., only ever ran her on rabbit/long ears (accidental) and she's proven worker at that, besides the point my question is.. if i was to breed her, what cross from a whippet/greyhound X ? would you hunters/moochers be interestied in buying from your experience? question is.. Put in the position with this breed what would you put across her that you know would sell? As is i'm thinkin bull grey.. I would love to breed from her as
  7. Thanks to both replies i will consider a spayed jill or maybe another hob.. Thanks to the site for help in more great advice.. Happy Hunting..!
  8. Hello i have in the past had hob ferrets, but this winter jack frost (i believe) claimed the life of my latest, he was around 6yrs of age. What is the average age of a ferret?? I have only ever kept hob ferrets. I'm hoping you ferreters with experience can hopefully put me straight on this i once heard.. If a Jill is not bred when in season or lined by a vacectamised hob, can she die or is this nonsense? I need to ask as i am looking to buy my next ferret and as the last hob often laid up due to his size, i'm considering a jill but dont want to be breeding.. Thanks in advance for helpful re
  9. Have a bump on me mate!! This is a great offer your giving and i'm sure there's someone to give these dogs a home.. shame ya so far from me or else i'd of snapped the light brindle bitch from ya. All the best with them mate..
  10. my first working dog was the whippet x greyhound i have now, i chose this breeding because i only wanted her to catch rabbits and nothing bigger which her breeding is excellent for. i was told to get a bitch as they are more loyal, dont stray when a dog in your area is in heat and dont cock their leg at every other lamp post on a walk. but again sex is personal choice as others have posted their views on.. all the best.

  14. This is my first cross whip/grey bitch she's around 14month in this picture an oh ye v.fast.. no prob on big ears by accident,.. would never think of runnin her at charlie though she's a game little bugger but unless their quick, i think being thin skinned their most likely to come off worse for wear but respect to the folk who can do em with their grews.. atb
