    I use the same but altered to fit the dogs everyday collar.. She's mainly a bushing/ferreting dog and is off following her nose without the slip at night..

    Ive a terrier same age and looking into smokers.. I'm still debating the rat attack ones, ther deemed bad on reviews but my permission will be on a farm close to livestock and I don't think a 2stroke engine revving away would be that much appreciated.. The fog machines have no gassy smell to them that's needed to get em bolting..

    I've had both of mine on the extendable lead when out walking for the first two weeks until I'm sure of their recall.. Worked with both! You'll most likely find with it being a pup they walk at your heels of the lead anyway until they get their confidence, better to be safe than sorry..!

    I got my bitch retrieving a stuffed skin to hand every time, before she ever went out, it all changed when she got hold of the real thing haha. Had to start the whole retrieve training again.. Pays off in the long run.. Atb

    I'd need to do my research but if my memory is right anyone can go onto the government website and open a pertition, if a certain number of people sign that pertition the government have to review it.. Not sure on the amount needed but I'm sure all THL members would e a start..!

    Where abouts are you from? I've got a drag hare with wheels handle battery string handheld switch even a stuffed skin.. All ready to go, I'm in Wigan and you'd need to collect but make me a reasonable offer if it sounds like what your after.. I did put it on here a good while ago but had a load of messers and it's just sat in the garage..!

    How much bull can you put into a x before it looks more leggy bull than lurcher..? I've seen some good looking 5/8 3/8 anyone ever had leggy bulls from experience breeding this cross have genetics ever played up..? Anyone pushed for more than 5/8?

    The dam to mine was Irish racing greyhound sire was racing/coursing whippet.. She's as fast as they come with no brains just pure prey drive and prone to injury at nothing..! Shes a good nose on her too..

    Got a pup nearly 4months, been in the car a handful of times, starts slavering and throws up.. When we took him for his jabs the vet told us travel sickness is common with pups.. The windows are open and the cars heater is turned off, I put him in his kennel in the back of the van to see if it was the view out the window making him sick but made no difference. Anyone been through this and got an idea if and when they grow out of it? Cheers for reading!

    Cracking tribute mate honest and real.. Lots of people on here are your out and out dog men, then there's alot of people on here who keep their dogs as pets as much as they are workers.. The bond with a good working dog that builds up after spending many years in the field with deserves a tear or two.. RIP JADE
